A FLASHER who hurled pizza and a skateboard during a series of public order offences has appeared in court as a man and a woman on the same day.

The 50-year-old, who broke new legal ground, was put on a restriction of liberty order for three months as a result of offences committed as Alan and Alannah Morgan. The accused was addressed as Alannah Morgan in the dock at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Morgan, of the city’s Strathmore Lodge, was sentenced in relation to four separate complaints – two as a man and two as a woman.

As Alannah, she admitted that on February 24 last year she acted in a threatening or abusive manner in the city’s Happyhillock Road by striking a floor and screaming.

She also admitted having a knife, swearing and referring to Andrew Rhynd in derogatory terms, and uttering threats in April 2021. On the second complaint, she admitted acting in a threatening or abusive manner in Nethergate on April 24.

Morgan admitted shouting incoherently and indiscriminately throwing pizza around, and urinating in public.

As a man, Morgan was charged with acting in a threatening or abusive manner and adopting an aggressive demeanour while making derogatory remarks to police in Brewery Lane on January 3 this year.

Morgan admitted the offence when he was subject to an anti-social behaviour order. A handwritten amendment to papers had been made to score out Alan and replace it with Alannah.

In the final case, Alan Morgan admitted acting in a threatening or abusive manner in Brewery Lane on March 23. He admitted repeatedly throwing a skateboard and kicking bins, as well as shouting, swearing and making offensive remarks to police.

Morgan also pled guilty to striking a cell door, exposing his buttocks and repeatedly spitting within a cell and pulling down his trousers.

The court papers were amended to replace Alan with Alannah

If you follow the chronology it goes something like this

Jan 22 - charged as a man
Feb 22 - charged as a woman (presumably as he self-declared as such)
Mar 22 - charged as a man (so did he change his mind or forget to self-declare?)
Apr 22 - charged as a woman

I could understand if the first two were as a man and the second two as a woman, but to change and then change and then change again from month to month shows the flaws in self-declaration does it not???

Why are you so he'll bent on claiming anyone who differs from your black and white world view is a pervert? They are people, some may be perverted, many, many more are not. Many people who you would deem normal are perverts.

Why not try treating people like people, and as long as they're not c**ts just let them live their lives in a manner that makes then feel happy and themselves.

Yes, you have claimed in the past that this is a recent interpretation of the words, but that is just plain wrong. I do agree that someone born male cannot, and never will be able to, carry a child. However, I think you'll find nobody is trying to claim differently (apart from in your head) - queue the response that Mason would argue they can.

We are all born different. Saying we can only be one of two ways is falling into 'mannie in the sky' territory, or like believing there is no other 'intelligent' life in the universe (I do wonder how intelligentwe actually are). Despite your protestations to the contrary, you increasingly come across like a far right religious nut job.

Just try letting people live their lives and getting on with your own without letting other people's harmless lifestyles bother you. There are wrong-uns of all shapes and sizes, worry more about them than getting worked up about perfectly normal people who identify differently.

No. Nobody has a right to expose themselves in public (and i am pretty certain Mason doesn't defend people who do expose themselves - or anything similar), but it's not an act exclusive to people who differ from the long enforced norm. And not all people (in fact very few people) who identify differently to said norms are perverts.

The issue is that you can't get a grasp of the fact that many people who are gay or trans (or any other category) can be (and for the most part are) perfectly normal, nice people who contribute to society.....they're just built differently to you and me. You just can't accept people who are different to you can be normal, good people who just want to get on in peace.

I really, really hope a child or grandchild of yours would get the love from you they deserve if they came out, at the very least, as gay after years of inner turmoil. Or would you disown them like the blinkered old fool you come across as? Or will you just say nobody in my family would be a freak?
