          No I’m not. Wasting any public money annoys me greatly. Private sector spending is entirely another matter.

          See the likes of this - £27M of government funds being spent on a new ferry and relative infrastructure for an island with a population of around 50: https://www.shetnews.co.uk/?p=109287

            Your anger is never in relation to the amount wasted.

                Labour have no policies, bar not doing what the Tories do.

                Even when Blair/Labour came to power in 97 they had a plan. Even though I didn't agree with what he stood for, he did do some good things.

                I have no idea what Starmer or the Labour party stands for and guess he doesn't either. Labour will coast the next election and I reckon they will have a majority of MPs in Scotland too, but I won't be voting for them.

                As posted in another thread the UK is F*cked.

                  We're still suffering from the utter utter shïte that Tony Blair introduced.

                  Not to say obviously that what followed wasn't worse.

                  Truth is that only a change of voting system and coalition government* can ever even hope to start sorting things out, particularly the NHS.

                  * not the fückin greens.

                    Most people get angrier when the financial f*ck ups get larger. Going by your previous posts on here, your anger seems to be more focussed. Some things annoy you, some things don’t but let’s not pretend it’s about the money

                      I work in the public sector, frontline services are grossly underfunded across the board......not sure what your point is?

                        Tell me about the utilities then.
                        Do the inefficient charlatans running these entities anger you?

                              But do you actually do any work?

                                No we sit around counting the days until we get our hands on our 'gold-plated' pensions?

                                You?
