How would you broach the VAT-on-women question? If it was to be approached similarly to the 1984 VAT introduction on takeaway food, you’d need to get in the bit about “moist and hot”, surely? Maybe, though, if it was proposed at 10% then “damp and warm” would suffice!?

I've heard he's a bit tight with his millions and the paltry allowance he gives his Wife to look after the house doesn't cover such luxuries like clothing.

        • I looked up the clothes story after seeing it here - genuinally first time I've even seen his wife. I don't even know her name. Not like shes out there doing 'public service'.

Pound to a penny if Rayner or Cooper had been PM the rich bloke wouldn't have been donating suits for their other half.

          Creepy AF. Creepy.

          • An article from the Guardian about 'Freebie' Starmer.

Prime minister has come under fire recently for clothing, accommodation and glasses provided by Waheed Alli

              • Fair play to Anus.
He wasn't lying when he said, "Read my lips, no austerity."

He should have qualified what he actually meant though.

Socialism? What’s that got to do with this Labour Party?

So much for ‘Keith is just trying to appeal to a wide base for votes but will come good after the election’.
Not even sure there was a feel good factor to quash but he’s still managed it…

Thoroughly enjoying all the snakes in the party snitching on him. Life comes at you fast Keith

What ****e he spouted, they spout, about inheriting debt - it was the same last time around. The Country is mired in debt and a lack of accountability and the SNP are the worst around to be frank. It’s all now about electability, image and consequently a lack of accountability. ****e, ****e, ****e!

                      • Apparently the guy who bought clothes for Keith's Wife, spent £18k on suits for Keith before the election.

Now giving him a huge benefit of doubt about the freebie football tickets and security issues of him attending games as a fan brings. Surely he doesn't need suits bought for him for security reasons.

The knives are out very quickly for Keith.

We've had austerity since 2010 and none of the main parties campaigned about what to do about it this year.

Milliband and Corbyn campaigned against it when they led the Labour party, but got crucified for it. Keith had a huge part to play in bringing down Corbyn and the shyte flung at him.

We might hate Blair, but he did at least have some ideas on change when he took power in 97. It wasn't just a case of carry on as before as it appears to be this time.

They’re not the worst. That’s just daft.

                            • The Toolmakers son and the other big hitters in the cabinet will no longer accept donations of clothes.

They really just don't get the outrage at them for sh*t like this that is so avoidable and unnecessary.
It just erodes what trust there is left between politicians and us plebs that vote.

                              • I see that Mr Freebie was the director of public prosecutions when they decided not to charge Mohamed al Fayed, just like they didn't charge Jimmy Savile.
