I can understand why Brighton got rid of him despite him getting them up then keeping them up, as the slide over the last 6 months has been poor. Sometimes a change at the top is needed just to frsshen everything up and get a new approach.

He is a good manager and he will undoubtedly get another job soon, probably high end championship

Charlton Athletic giving Curbishley the dunt. They never recovered. A fresh approach doesn't always work. Hughton will get something at the start of next season when the chairmen get trigger happy.

I have just been on the Blyth Spartans website (heading to a friendly v Stranraer). I notice they have employed a new manager

Lee Clark. He left the Kilmarnock a year and a half ago to Join Bury. Got sacked after 8 month and is now in the 6th tier of guffball.

His career has panned out well

It's an odd one. He'll have to be able to get the best out of a bunch of misfits, there's not many managers that can do what Clarke did. 3yr deal as well.
