This is good news.
For all that the guy seems a bit of a nutter there have been signs that they were improving.
But they lost to Motherwell so obviously heads must roll.
Someone will have to have a screw loose to take that job
Step up Ally McCoist

Not enough manager jobs, and too many out of work managers. Someone will be desperate enough to take it. Worst happens, they get a pay-off after 6 months.Originally posted by donsdaft View PostSomeone will have to have a screw loose to take that job
I suspect McLeish will be seen as the saviour. Other EBTers from the deid club will also be after it to pay their tax bills ie Barry Ferguson

Obviously this wasn't planned. Its going to cost them a fortune to pay pedro off and the 3 coaches he took in. Plus the players he brought in are stuck on big money contracts.
Murty will take charge again for the foreseeable but who would want that job. No money, no chance of catching rangers.

I think the huns want a "Rangers" man to take the reigns, without remembering they have a sh!te, over paid squad, on long contracts. Whoever comes in wont get a "warchest", as King admitted himself that he has no money. Next summer will be the minimum date before they can start a spending spree again. The seaosn ticket money for this seaosn has already been wagered on Pedro. So. basically he wants someone to come in and make the best of whats there and try to turn their fortunes around... McInnes will be a stick on for that sort of task... whether they can afford him or not is a different matter.

Depends how realistic they are, if they are looking to be the best of the rest then McInnes would be the one for them.Originally posted by Stupie82 View PostI think the huns want a "Rangers" man to take the reigns, without remembering they have a sh!te, over paid squad, on long contracts. If they are looking to challenge Celtic for the title then last night showed McInnes isn't the man for that job.

Last night means nothing.
Rangers apparently spent about £10m in the summer on players.
If DM had that, he'd comfortably have them in second and closer to Celtic.
There's no magic wand there and it would take either a war chest or a number of seasons to compete more.
Getting pumped out of Europe at the first hurdle would not have helped either.

McInnes will not be their manager because they canna pay off Pedro and then buy out McInnes and Doc. Then on top of that McInnes canna lay a glove on the pigs as we all have to witness over and over again.
Its only October and the Huns are so deluded they will expect results straight away. McInnes is not the man for that
