You're right of course, but the point I was (badly) trying to make is that 12 of the 16 third round ties can't yet be played as there are still outstanding first and second round ties to play and of those 12 ties, 11 involve teams whose season has now been suspended for at least 3 weeks and most likely longer. Given the shortage of free dates and the backstop of Euro2020 (if it goes ahead) its already looking like a challenge to finish the Scottish Cup this season

      • All true, and between the weather and the real possibility of the current clampdown being extended, the whole tournament's at risk.

I've shocked myself on occasion in the past month by saying, "It's only fitba", but there do seem to be more serious issues to consider.

        • Yes agreed, and it must be touch and go even letting the top two leagues carry on over the next few weeks

          • 2-2 at Lice/Ice Central between the Jutes and St Perth.

Shankland equaliser from 50 yards, it seems. That’s about 30 yards further than the lazy, idle, lead-swinging, wage-thieving, sniper’s dream-browed mutant ran in his time with us.

            Wrong ‘un.

            • Well I never... the huns get a penalty. Who would ever have thunk it. At least they are 3 up so Ross Co won't get a man sent off now

                  • St. Johnstone have lost their last 6 semi finals. Hibs have, well just hibsed it again.

                      • Livingston win again to get into the league cup final.

That ex con has made some start but the best thing he has probably done is turn Effy Ambrose into a good defender

Whoever wins that game will have won more trophies than we have in the last 21 years.

That’s how far we have fallen.

Stewarty has turned us into a diddy club.

A St J win in particular should be used as perfect ammunition against every weegie journalist that argues we should be ever grateful for Derek as that will be two cups for them since Derek won his only one. F'uck his record that gets rolled out in all of those articles of semi finals and finals as the ONLY thing that matters is actually winning a final

...and if you recall, Livingston were in administration when they won it in 2004, and went into administration again in 2009. Jamie McAllister, to whom they offered a better deal than we could (no real loss) scored in the 2004 final. I hope he was paid.

You can add "supplier-cheating" and "economically immoral" to "tin-pot" and "amateur" after their recent postponment farces.

I hope St Perth gub the seven shades of ****e out of them.
