Whilst there’s a benefit for us (or so the papers say, I’ve seen no comment from the club), Huddersfield finished two points clear of Forest, yet lost out. That’s unfair.

Ah well, that’s the sympathy bit done.

At least I still consider Huddersfield a top division club since they were in Proper Mannies’ Division One when I got my first league ladders free with Shoot about 1968.
