  • Partick defeated Ayr in the play off second leg.
Connor McLennan had a bit of a mare to say the least.

    • Bit harsh on Okkels guys, I appreciate he hasnt been great by any stretch of the imagination but he hasnt been as bad as some people are trying to make out.

I remember the days of James Wilson and Matty Kennedy playing horrendously bad and people on here would stick up for them with the classic ?theres a player in there ? tripe.

Hes nowhere near as bad as they were.

Think you're reading a bit too much into it.

Think it was just a bit of fun by the original poster.

Whilst Okkels isn't as bad as made out by some. I don't want to see us splash the reported ?1 million on him.

I can change my mind if he scores the winner on the 24th.

        • Catching up on the weekends fitba.

Just seen that the Chairman/owner at Forest confronted their manager at the final whistle yesterday, after their draw with Leicester.

Hope that Dave C isn't picking up any ideas off the back of this story. 😄

I wouldn?t think so?.remember he was virtually in tears after confronting Jim Goodwin at Easter Road and telling him his time was up. I don?t think DC has fully recovered as he definitely had a soft spot for Irish Jim.
Dave Cormack doesn?t deal with sacking/hiring managers in a positive way. Everything is drawn out and has a dull feeling about it.
If he wants to employ me a chief hirer and firer i will start straight away. I want full control of who the staff members and what positions they will hold at Aberdeen FC. I am far more accomplished for the job than anyone in the last 10 years (at least).

            • FFS, ball-battering, sneakily-violent, 11-handed defensive, spoiling, brutal, 12-behind-the-ball, appalling-pitched, 1980-esque hun hoofball experts Livingston aka Meadowbank aka Ferranti, are now 3-0 ahead of the Proper Mannies? Jags in the play-off. I hope to fk Ross County or TMSTID do them in the play-off.

I knew they would make the final.
I can't see them beating County or Dundee, but as you described their play above, they can do it through the darks arts they employ and are good at.

I honestly hope not as not what our league needs.

Just saw the Palace goal. That is exactly what our manager has been trying to do all season.

I think we should try something different for the final, as we cant do it

Six English teams in the CL next season.

Actually, they could still finish 15th, but it is a farce that the 15th best team in one country can play in the "Champions" League while a team who actually won their league in another country has to negotiate one or two qualifying rounds to have a chance of making the league.

                        Money talks, I suppose.

                        • In the last few weeks a lot of teams who haven't won a trophy for ages have been winning cups.......

Was never mentioned a few seasons ago when Sevilla won Europa League and finished 12th in the league. Arsene Wenger cries about Spurs suddenly it gets picked up on by the press.

Wenger has a cheek about claiming teams shouldn?t get to play in Champs League when for a number of years they only qualified by not winning anything.

It is shyte, but could you imagine how even further ahead Septic would be if they were going straight into the group stages every season.

That's where the real money lies and it's impossible to catch them as it stands.

Fair play to the boy at Spurs though for saying all season he wins a trophy in his second season and has delivered. Be interested to see if he gets punted by them or even walks away.

I'd quite happily have finished bottom six if it meant lifting the cup.

Of course we have finished fifth and still winning it, so that's even better!!!
