Splendid scenes of technical area handbags as some manky tink spat on the Dingwall assistant gaffer after they scored the equaliser via a 96th minute penalty.

I hope County hammer that inbred mongrel outfit in the second leg (just as the Maroons did to Dingwall in three successive Highland League Cup finals 1973, 1974, 1975).

    • Scott McTominay scores the goal to clinch the Italian title for Napoli.

The loon will never have to put his hand in his pocket in Naples, for a beer ever again.

They have murals of Maradonna and now Scott McTominay in the streets of Naples. Who'd ever have thunk it.

      • Livi fight back from 2 down, to now lead 2-3!

Common County, you can't let this this shyte back in the league.

            So Livi it is then.

Fair play to Martindale, he took them up first time of asking and the boy knows how to get results. I'm not sure if it's his nasally voice or conviction that stops other clubs taking a chance on him.

Just as a club and that horrible pitch, they are not an addition to the top league.

            • Going against the grain slightly but Id rather have Livi up than Ross County

              • In terms of what they bring by way of approach to football and away fans it's six and half a dozen for me but I'm maybe getting old as I'd rather drive home from Livi in the dark in the middle of Winter than from Dingwall.

Can't be for footballing reasons though.

County aren't great, but still offer way more to the league than Livi ever will.

I dont think theres much in it. Nobody has ever went to Dingwall and been excited about the football. Everyone going is excited about the pub

I find it impossible to get interested in a Ross County fixture. Theres nothing offensive or interesting about them at all. Theres not a duller team in the whole of Scottish football.

Did I ever mention that in 1973, 1974, and 1975, Keith beat Ross County each time in the Highland League Cup final, and that Doug Rougvie won his first senior medal in the first of those victories, on loan - the term was ?farmed out? in them days - from Pittodrie?

There is very little to choose between both Meadowbank and Dingwall, and their fellow anti-fitba spoilers and cloggers St Perth, the Masons, St Paisley, Motherwell etc. if we stop dropping stupid points to them and their ilk, our total and league position will be significantly enhanced.

These views are obviously subject to valudation by our self-appointed in-house tactical and coaching expert.

I don't have a horse in the race, but County are a better run club and we need more of them.

Can anyone get excited over Livi either?

I'd rather a Raith, Partick or a Dunfermline in the league than either Livi or County.

Of course you can get a chipper supper in Dingwall, so that's another plus for them.

                        • for me there is not much in it between coonty or Livi, but listening to Martindale over the last few weeks there is no doubting his level of commitment to Livi and he has stated a few times that they are getting their act together behind the scenes as well and appear to be a better ran club than they were 24 months ago.
The addition of another plastic surface to contend with in the top league is a concern as I do believe these things should be banned form professional fitba..
Anyway will be interesting to see how they cope next season, I have a funny feeling they will not go straight back doon.
I also have a funny feeling that Coonty will not be coming straight back up.

                          • I?ve not seen Livi much if at all this season, but suggestions in the reporting that they,re playing a more positive brand of football? And maybe the new pitch will be better (can,t be worse).

Clutching at straws. Would have rather County stayed up.

I just can't see a future for them with such a shyte fanbase.

                              • International fitba tonight. Who knew? I certainly didn't.

What a load of shyte. Let the players enjoy their summer holidays.
