There’s now something called “exceptional circumstances” to cite a player if a ref has missed or not deemed to dealt with it.
To be fair, it was dangerous.
I’d say a ref would’ve been justified

Not much else doing today so stuck the Spurs v Leicester game on. It was 1-0 spurs and I fancied Maddison for next scorer. Stuck a wedge on and he goes and wins a penalty, he gets up, claims the ball and gets ready to slot it past the keeper.

Quids in I'm thinking. No chance, just before he has a chance to take it the manager takes someone off and puts Vardy on. Of course he has to take the penalty for his first touch so grabs the ball fae Maddison and misses. Spurs get a 2nd not long after so bets dead

Lloris made a decent save from the penalty and another from Vardy just before Spurs made it 2-0. I was glad Vardy missed the penalty

Power could have been a yellow or red so I can understand why he got off but it shows how broken the system is when a violent forearm smash merits just a yellow with apparently not enough evidence for a red. Is a pair of eyes not enough?????
