  • Killie drew 0-0 with Motherwell today so stay 3 points clear of them to try to get European spot for the few of us that still care about qualifying for Europe (we ain't finishing any higher than third and in reality we are not winning the SC)

    • That's a bit harsh on hibs. Same old story though, missed chances earlier in the game coming back to haunt them. Thought they might nab it for a while there.

Half bottle of buckie thrown at Sinclair

Aye, that trip to an anagram in the erse end of Europe (or Asia) to get put out is appealing.
No benefit to players in time off from 2nd to 3rd now.
Just £££’s to club. About £300k? Not sure how much.
If we get pumped tomorrow would be interesting to see how DM motivates the team for rest of the season.
        Might peter out meekly.
        Huge game really.
        Season ending or season extending.
Celtic await which kind of limits any enthusiasm.

        • The poor January transfer window is already haunting us. The lack of ambition shown by our club leaders will in essence be laid bare tomorrow evening. We let other teams catch up with us but failed to try and catch who we should have been making an attempt on.

I don’t mind a European tie...a change of opponents lets us see how much we can adapt to different situations.

            • At least it's a bit of variety from playing the same old Scottish teams time after time and for sure we've had some crappy draws but we also have had trips to Spain, Holland, England and Croatia, which were pretty good.

Europa League doesn't start until 11 July (which would be roughly when League Cup starts if we don't make Europe). Our season will end on 19 May (or 25 May in the unlikely event we make the Cup final), which is plenty time to have a holiday plus back for pre-season training

I agree the motivation for the rest of the season will be a big issue if we lose tomorrow especially given how many players won't be here next season anyway, given how unmotivated the players looked against Hamilton on Tuesday with supposedly the season still alive

              • Apologies for the link but its to prove the point.

Scott Sinclair almost hit with Bucky bottle. Should not be happening. Mentioned in record

                • Steven MacLean at his best in the PJM game, joke penalty to the Jooooot and an Inverness goal wrongly disallowed (to be fair that was on the lino).
