You’re missing out on some great times. I’m a bit too old for it now like

So back on topic lock Jet up and throw away the key. Like you it’s the scum using these people that gets me.

See he’s been sacked by Morton already. No presumption of innocence from them. Certain institutions could learn a lesson from them…
They can’t legitimately sack him on account of allegations though - the Cooncil, Polis etc send them home on full pay for months and often years!

Folk may think they live in so called better areas, but you can guarantee they will still have both dealers and users close by.

The amount of folk I grew up with who ended up with habits is frightening. Quite a few of them are now dead. The sh*t their familes have went through with them is the stuff of nightmares. We now have around three generations of drug users in some familes nowadays.

One loon I went all through nursery and school with has told me some sorry stories of his issues with addiction. Grim as f*ck.

I haven't got an issue with what folk put into their bodies. Its the B@stards who supply and sell it are who I want to see rot along with the politicians and Police who claim they are still winning the fight on drugs, which we all know is shyte.
Absolutely 100% spot on DD. I totally agree with every single word mate.
I also have a couple of good lifelong friends from right back to our nursery days and as they say although they have managed to kick the habit and have been "clean" for a number of years now they will always be recovering addicts. And they have also shared some brutal brutal stories with me from their times in the dark and yes beyond grim as fcuk, amazing that they are still here today.
I also want to see the b@st@rds who are supplying and selling rot in hell along with the snowflake police force and government who are doing next to sweet fk all about it.
        Sad sad times indeed mate.

It will be in his contract about bringing the name of the club into disrepute.
He has been charged with the offence and the story mentioned him playing for Morton, so that will be enough.

I'm sure he'll get a game for the prison team.

            • A good article on the BBC about Alex Ferguson's work with dementia sufferers.

The footballing legend has shared some of his fondest memories with the BBC to raise awareness of dementia.

              • Jayden Richardson signs for Boreham Wood, in the English sixth tier.

Hope the loon manages to get his career back on track.

That's now two players from our summer 22 recruitment playing sixth tier football in England.

                • As the post-mortem is carried out on Rob Milsom assaulter “Naisey”, one of the View From The Terrace media whore presenters includes this statement in today’s Herald:

“First, there’s Lawrence Shankland. Last season he was a goalscoring machine, racking up 24 league goals for the campaign and 31 in total. This campaign he has been a shadow of his former self.
A regression of sorts was expected. Shankland has long been a deadly finisher, but some of his efforts, such as in wins over Aberdeen, St Mirren and Hibs, were special even by his standards. But nobody could have foreseen his form dropping to this extent. He not only hasn’t scored – now eight games in all competitions – he has scarcely looked like doing so. As he approaches the final six months of
his contract it now must be Hearts who are delighted the player chose not to sign a bumper contract offer midway through last term.”

In other words, a huffy, idle pr1ck who’s had one decent season when we were struggling to challenge.

                  Who knew?

                  • Also, I’ve just discovered that Finn Yeats, former Don and more importantly, former Maroon (on loan from Pittodrie last season) scored Falkirk’s second goal against the green filth yesterday.

He’s got a bit of a fitba pedigree. His brother Kieran is a former Maroon, now at Turriff United, managed by his uncle Warren Cummings. Their dad Craig Yeats played in the Highland League for a long time, including time with Keith and Huntly, and their granda is Tom Cummings, a coach and manager in the Highland League, now retired.

And a third I believe is still without a club? But also one has ended up in Serie A and another La Liga.
Just a crazy season all round…

Couple of those names didn’t strike me as being particularly associated with us.
Looked up to see far Gavin Rae was fae - it had somehow completely escaped me that he’s Aberdonian.
I just think of him as a hun. Sorry Gav loon.

I suppose they could only get whoever was available and fit to play. It's good to see Kevin McNaughton is involved, given his struggles in recent years.

Early in his career he played for TMSTID at Pittodrie and was sent off. His old man was evicted from The DD Upper for going off his nut at TBITB causing plod to think he was a Dundee fan :-)
