Gartenmann hasn’t spoken to new Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin but doesn’t expect to be heading back to the Dons next season. He confirmed: “I haven’t spoken to the new Aberdeen manager. At this point, he will know what type of players he will want in his team.

“He has a very specific way he wants to play and I’m not sure I fit into that. If he was keen to have a player like me then I might have heard something.
