    1. Shinnie’s just on loan.
    2. It sends out a wrong signal to undermine your vice-captain.
    3. You don’t need an armband, the ability to guess heads or tails, or even the delegated authority, to get stuck in, offer advice, and generally offer leadership to the players around you.
Angus MacDonald could well lead out the team tommorow…watch this space.

    • I really hope this isn't the new normal for us on transfer deadline day.
I'm convinced we are trying to send out a team of loan signings.
Joking aside, I'm assuming there is a rule for the number of loans a club can have or play?

On loan to MK Dons for rest of the season. I doubt we’ll see him in red again, the boy McDonald sounds a decent signing and possibly a contender for the Englishman with the most Scottish sounding name ever?

          • What’s the scoop on this boy Agnew that’s come in as Robson’s assistant? Maybe a possibility this could be the new management team for the foreseeable future? I think Davie C will be very careful now about this next appointment and if things go well with the interim management team I’d think that would be his preferred option at least for the rest of this season.

                Fantastic name, very Scottish sounding.

I see the lad has been battling cancer also previously which is a real shame. Hope the lad does very well up here. His wife doesn’t seem as keen on us as he was.

                  • Goodwin made two huge mistakes in the early days.

1/ Telling everyone they were shïite and were getting the boot at the end of the season
That could very easily have seen us relegated.

                    2/ Making Stewart captain
There must be some story behind this, it was bizarre.

Hopefully all these panic loan signings work, but I don't have a good feeling about it.

                    • Well that was an eventful day. I do hope we are not in this situation again, but needs must and all that.

The only surprising thing was more players didn't go out the door.

I wasn't worried about Goodwin telling the players they were shyte, the issue was backing that up by signing quality.

Signing Stewart and making him captain wasn't really a ringing endorsement of us signing the quality needed to progress as a team, but I don't think Goodwin had much say in who we signed, which could well be a problem for any manager we have.

Maybe she'll get a real treat when she buys her new specks up in Rosemount!!

Not strange at all. He was homesick.
