  • Sack Jimmy Turnip

This has got to be the worst run of league games without a win in the history of Aberdeen FC.
Time for a change of manager (just for starters)

No one can have any argument to keep him and would be off their head or just giving up on Aberdeen if that is the case.

Get this idiot of a manager out the door. He has spent a lot of money and been better backed than anyone and is getting pumped every week now by Scottish footballs bang average managers tactically.

He can shove his 4-2-3-1 where the sun doesn?t shine!!

It is inevitable that he will be fired if this continues for much longer. But who would we get next is a huge problem.

I won't agree with it but I would totally understand that if Dunfermline beat us then it may spell the end for Jimmy because of the results AND performances over the past 3 months.

It really is inexcusably bad and Pele levels of turgid sh**e that is on show coupled with no wins in 14 in a league where our budget dwarfs more than half of the other teams.

I still would give him the summer window and next season BUT if we get beat off Dunfermline and he keeps his job but we still don't win for 15/16/17 league games then it's indefensible for Jimmy to stay on.

        Get rid of him ASAP
        Not only him,
Cormack needs to bin his fkn mates.
Wtf does gunn and burrows bring to the table.

Know I will get laughed at but i honestly believe we would be in a better place today if we had stuck with Barry Robson
I would bring him back but i dont suppose even barry is daft enough to come back. 🤷🏻*♂️

There's no doubt in my mind that with this group of players that Robson or Goodwin or Glass would have more than 35 points and NOT have the worst run ever attached to their name.

I just hold out hope that this is the run that we'll look back on in Sept/Oct when again with Jimmy in charge we have an incredible start and we're actually playing football that deserves it rather than how we were incredibly lucky a fair few games early on this season.

Having no wins in 14 league matches should not be acceptable for any Aberdeen manager and especially for a manager who has been backed more than any other.

I don?t understand why folk think we will need to stick with him for a few more defeats before we sack him because he will need time to get another transfer window?.look at what he has done with this one. He has made his team weaker. I certainly wouldn?t back him any more and fire him straight away.
Put Leven back in until we appoint a better football coach. This guy is dreadful

Easy to say but until the likes of Shinnie, Clarkson, Duk, Devlin, Doohan, Mackenzie, McGrath, Nisbet, Ambrose (I believe those last 2 were already lined up before Jimmy took over) are out of the squad completely then as a team we'll never improve.

The majority of those players have been involved in the playing team or squad of some of the worst results and runs in our history. Give Jimmy time to ret rid of them and I believe we'll be better for it.

Just burst out laughing looking at the table. How we are still 4th is anyone's guess. If this crazy streak we are on continues we will finally start toppling down the standings. He's got a few games yet to turn it around. Until then I am backing him.

                  I'm still backing him.

Was impressed with his post match interview.

Sounded like he is very p1ssed off with the players.

Sadly, I suspect our players will see off another manager and we will be back looking for a new manager before too long.

I really hope he manages to turn things around but hes had a go at the players in that interview and sadly that will be the end of him.

The players know that Dave Cormack has their backs so we are going to be looking for our 5th permanent manager in 4 years soon enough.

Just saw this interview Thelin did on sky sports.Similar to the other post match interviews but a bit more blunt.

He is absolutely spot on with what he is saying and I really hope Cormack stands by him and makes it abundantly clear to the players.

                        Quite right.
We need rid of all this foreign muck and bring Lenny in.

It's time we understood that what AFC need to return to greatness is MORE short-term thinking.
                        It's the way forward.

I?m sticking with him. On think on the whole he?s brought in a higher standard of player and we now need to clear out the old guard. I?ve resisted that sentiment until now, but we need to start afresh. I want to give him another window and a close season.

Having calmed down a bit from yesterday Im still backing Thelin. I might have been starting to turn if he went on about staying humble and back to the training ground post match interview spiel but the fact that he has had a go at the players shows he sees what most of us can see.

There are players who are low in confidence but there are also players who are not putting in the effort. Not entirely sure why that is but it been a recurring issue for us for years.Thelin needs to weed those players out of the team and start giving young players an opportunity, they cant be any worse than some of the first team players.

Hopefully the fans and the board make it clear to the players that we are going to stick with Thelin, if they dont like it then they can leave anytime they want.
