      We are actually getting worse.
I am not actually that bothered about being out of the cup it's the manner of it that gets me.
I was hoping to see the fight and determination we need to start climbing the league table but it looks sadly missing and I worry about us being isolated at bottom of table after the next two games

I would like to hear from Aberdeen fans who think we should stick with Jimmy and give me footballing reasons why he should be safe in his job? Anyone?

Sounds as thought I did myself a favour by being away for todays game.

Nobody in their right mind can't be worried about our form, since last November and no sign of our form improving. Even my hope of us being a cup team was knocked on the head today.

Most of us have said it since last season, just change things around a little if it isn't working. Worked a treat for us in the cup final and it might even turn our league form around, but no, we still persist in doing the same things game after game.

Half Man Half Biscuit were excellent last night though and not going to let the result today spoil a fairly decent couple of days.

[QUOTE=Br0chred;40752860]Polvara on eventually, is there anyone who thinks he shouldn't be starting./QUOTE]

Yes, JT. I'm guessing that it's because he didn't sign him. Just as Topi is always selected (a wide player with no pace - have you ever seen him burn past his FB?), Jensen is always selected another fitba player with no pace; Aouchiche rather than Clarkson.

Keskinen has loads of pace, heÂ’s just a headless chicken with zero fitba intelligence.

Jensen is frankly garbage, Im pretty much done with him.

Aouchiche has flattered to deceive too. Clarkson has talent, but he is another absolute lightweight.

Said it elsewhere, we have just got too many players who are wholly unsuited to Scottish football. That Im afraid is on Jimmy and the recruitment team.

Im not a huge fan of Keskinen but the one thing he does have is pace to burn. I dont know why he doesnt use it but itÂ’s possible that he is being told to cut inside instead of running down the wing.

Early days for Karlsson but he also looks incapable/reluctant of running down the wing and taking on the opposition fullback.Again maybe he is being instructed to play like that?

It makes the decision to let Shayden Morris leave even more ridiculous, the one player we had who would take on players and could put dangerous crosses into the box, got 13 assists for us last season and I cant see Keskinen and Karlsson get that amount of assists between them this season.

Yep, we had one player capable of taking on and beating the FB, hitting the byline and putting in a cross - sold and not replaced.

Similarly, we had one player with genuine physicality and ability to win headers against big centre halfs in big Pape - sold and not replaced.

Thelins tactics and formations are a huge part of our problems - but we dont half make it worse by shooting ourselves in the foot with decisions like these.

I am the opinion that most of our issues are down to the managers tactics. I just don't buy into this our players are all shyte talk.

Certainly some struggle with the pace of the Scottish game and will never adapt, but just look when Leven took the team after both Robson and Warnock, he got a tune out of the squad, by going back to basics, which brought confidence back to the players and results improved.

You could even say Robson did the same after Goodwin, with the addition of a couple of key signings in defence.

I'm reading something on the P&J site about clear the air talks between player and manager after yesterdays game.

The last time that happened was before the cup final. Hopefully somethings constructive comes from it.

I cant remember who it was on here in the summer that said he was glad to see the back of Morris and Gueye but I said at the time they were 2 of most attacking threats last season.

Both could be frustrating, particularly Gueye but that is a lot of goals and assists taken out of the team which hasnt been replaced.

We probably do have good players in the squad and certainly did have in previous seasons.

It does look there is an attitude problem within the club where players seem to just not play for managers and show up when it suits them.

As you mentioned Robson got the team winning after he took over from Goodwin and Leven did the same when he took over from Warnock.

In Robsons case the squad reverted back to their usual form after he got the job permanently so there is no guarantee that the players would respond to Leven if he took over from Thelin.

Maybe the players have it too easy at the club where they know that the manager will get the blame if they are not performing, to me that mentality needs to change because we are going round in circles changing managers and squads every year.

I will give Thelin one month to get things sorted out and get us winning again. If he can't do it Cormack will have to sack him or he will get us relegated.

                              As am I.

I don’t understand why he won’t change. It’s just madness at this stage. As others have said we don’t even have our Plan B of Morris going on the outside anymore. Everything is based on cutting in, Carlson has just come in and he’s doing the same. Folk are getting on Jensens back about him stopping and turning back all the time but he can’t pass down the line, theres no one ahead of him and Keskinin rarely in a position to receive the ba as midfield just congested. I think it’s obvious he's instructed not to get down the line himself.

They all (with the exception of Clarkson) take so many touches, is it lack of confidence or being scared to lose it? Is possession at all costs being drilled in to them? We are just ponderous and one note. Even the corners yesterday were always the same.

JT seems an intelligent thoughtful guy, he surely must shake things up at some point????
Thought the penny had dropped with his cup final line up and we’d see a much changed approach this year as well

I think thats fair, I might even say end of October (nearly there in a month granted).

That was when I knew Glass was finished, so despite the fact weve been shyte since November, he deserves the chance to show he can turn it round.

Have to be honest though and say Im very close to the point of thinking he cant. Thats nearly a year weve been playing the same way with the same crap results - bar one very famous exception that he has learnt absolutely nothing from.

More clear the air talks yesterday apparently, how many times is that now?

All these players cant be shyte, unfortunately in this league, with this manager, formation and tactics, they look shyte.

You just need to look at what Robinson has done with Phillips especially, and Richardson to an extent as well at St Mirren, to see what a good manager can do when using players correctly.

My mate is a buddies fan, hes been raving about these two, Phillips especially. Both were utterly dreadful here, so why is that?

Doesnt reflect well on us as a club either.
