    All this talk about Bellamy.
Just remember who got us promoted against the odds after most fans wrote the season off in August 2024. Pace sold all our best players and Parker built a new team that won us promotion, I doubt Bellamy would have achieved that

If you don't give a man the tools he can't do the job. Not even Sean Dyche. No way round that whoever our manager is.

I assume Parker is part of the recruitment process mon ami and we have added around 15 - 20 players during his tenure. He was waxing lyrical about Edwards but won't play him.

He's probably done the best he can with the resources available, but the PL doesn't stand still. If there is a manager out there who can be guaranteed to keep us up and is available and affordable then you can fire Scotty off tomorrow for me. But I don't see him, so St Margaret's favourite little rhyme about keeping a hold of nursey, is appropriate imo.

The bottom line sinkov is apart from us Wolves and Dirty Weeds every current EPL team have squads of twenty plus EPL quality players. We can't compete week in week out with these guys, and that's the end of it.

Another worry for us which is linked to the above comment is that we have no obvious assets to sell in this squad unlike the squad that went down under Kompany. We got a tidy sum from sales at the end of that season which I just cannot see happening with the current squad.None of them will be on the radar of PL clubs.

Not if the other PL clubs had any sense ,they wouldn’t be

Exactly mon ami, and if we can't afford to run a squad of 20 plus PL quality players, that's not the manager's fault.

So what’s the point of getting to the Premier League ? We knew this was coming, and what we’d be up against , back in the summer. If we are going down, let’s go down fighting, not *****footing about. Will we win another game this season ? It doesn’t look like it. It looks to me as though Pace and his mates have learnt nothing from the past.

No point at all, unless the owners are prepared to fund a PL quality squad, which they aren't. I suppose they could be hoping that we may turn up a gem who, with PL exposure, we could sell on for 60/80 million, but it hasn't happened yet and they've had five years playing at it. It's the poor buggers who buy STs in the hope of something better that I feel for.

If you want to see something better you support a top 6 club, not the likes of Burnley, which has always been the case

Not always been the case for me, the first ten years I was watching Burnley there was no team we couldn't beat on our day, and no team played better football. I've seen us put 7 past Spurs, 6 past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and 5 past Arsenal at Highbury.

It's not Parker nor is it the team that will probably see me ending my season ticket renewal for next season. It's Pace's contempt for me as a Clarets fan. The dude is a tw@t.

That's a bit harsh BT and a change of heart. You have previously been very supportive of Pace. The results haven't been good recently
but this Burnley FC you are talking about.A small town team in the big boys league where money dominates. In reality we will probably
be in the Championship next season but that is a league where we can do well and, hopefully, prosper and play entertaining football.
Keep the faith we don't want to lose you.

Without consultation I get crammed post-match into a crowd crush of 6000 people. It's dangerous and it's bad practice. I hope Pace stays in Spain and sells us off ASAP.
