I doubt that he would make same mistake so I am guessing that if the Board wanted to go that route but didn’t, it will be because of the lack of funds that would be due to Cardy.

As it is we got a point against Bournemouth, so that will have bought him some time. However, if he starts with the same line up, it starts to become the definition of madness.
I'm not at all certain Parker actually knows what his best eleven really is S_C.

Fulham will be OK, not so sure about Forest though.

Dyche honeymoon period will soon be over with another couple of performances like last night, Forest fans will soon turn on him like they did at Everton

Us, West Spam and Wolves to go down in my humble opinion. The writing is on the wall.Cardy will not alter his tactics. He is far too negative in his approach.

His scoring record is abysmal, just nine PL goals in 87 appearances for Chelsea, Southampton, Fulham, Everton and Burnley.

One headed goal against Bournemouth doesn't turn him into a thoroughbred and in horse-racing terms I wouldn't back him to win a seller at Catterick, never mind the Epsom Derby. If he does disappear into the abyss it will be because he isn't good enough and hasn't scored enough goals. It will be nowt to do with anything the doomers and gloomers on here write or say about him.

Incidentally army, Aldi have a Chablis Premier Cru for 14.99, it's a belter, I'm going back for some more tomorrow, I'd happily pay a tenner more for it.
I?ll try the Chablis Sinkov thankyou - noticed they had a Amarone on but it had sold out sadly when I tried.

I?m really hoping he?s back to

Anthony must be droped the lad is presently a liability and I would look at giving Edwards and Broja a start, as we need some creativity or just hang up the white flag, surrender and settle for lower league football, with a championship manager

Last chance saloon for Parker, if he doesn't deliver against these and the Mags he's a gonna for me. He wouldn't have a job by now if he managed anyother Premier League side, so what makes Burnley any different?

I canÂ’t see him making the end of December ballcock but we maybe wrong - I think though to give another manager a chance he needs at least half the games and time to see what he has and also what he needs maybe loans etc

I do feel for him as a decent chap but we simply set up wrong imo and invite teams onto us inviting crosses un opposed into our box.
( thatÂ’s recepie for disaster with the Moyes team of giants ).

Fleming is t a no 9 style forward he isnÂ’t mobile enough to offer ChanelÂ’s and work off the ball ( he tries every game though ).

His position is behind the striker coming into balls and linking up play - arriving later.

Parker has told him heÂ’s a no 9 last year and has stuck With that again - difference now is we donÂ’t deliver ball from wide for him as our wide players are behind the ball playing football in front of the oppositions defence and the defenders are better Quicker footballers.

This league never lies and it frustrates me when Parker dresses it up all the time that we are in games - we have no real shape - no
Answer to Opposing teams changes and set up - weÂ’ve tried playing 5 at the back with no real
Pace or out ball for the team when they look up and to top all that we are the Brazil of sideways and backwards football - if there was a trophy weÂ’d be world champions.

Not the best picture painting of 18 games that is it.

Just spent 5 days in Budapest it was amazing.

I think that you are right, BT.

Being charitable, as it is Christmas, maybe he believes that the talent that he needs on the pitch varies with the opposition. Having been raised on the era where Blacklaw, Angus, Elder, Adamson, Cummings, Miller, Connolly, McIlroy, Pointer, Smith and Pilkington played week in and week out against every team, I struggle to understand his logic if that is the case.

A settled squad is best, to my mind.

Swiss ---little faux pas? Smith should be Robson surely ---shouldn't it? or are you also thinking of Bobby Seith who was regular in that era as well

NOt as an inside forward though. Freddie was very unlucky that John Angus filled the right back position, in fact, Freddie only played 84 league games in his 7 years at the club. Smashing guy, who is from West Sleekburn which is just over two miles from where I live.
I knew Freddie's sister very well and ocasionally used to see Freddie on one of his rare visits up here.

You are correct, Super. I meant Jimmy Robson. A momentary lapse of reason. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa for any Catholic, Pink Floyd devotees.

I was sure you meant Malcolm Smith from the late 70s Swiss. Good lad was Malcolm, very much under-rated by many fans.
