Add to that the dire financial situation and the chances of us trying to hold out for decent money for anybody is highly unlikely.
I'm standing 100% behind #13. Parker never gave us a proper chance and I reckon a decent manager would have kept us up.

My real concern is how much money do ALK actually need to go into next season with us fully liquid?

Just lately BT we seem to be aligned more than not and I have to agree Parker did not give us or the players a fair chance tbh - on Fleming he?s scored 9 goals in a team that really doesn?t make chances for him - typically Wood only got 12-14 goals under Dyche and our whole set up was built around set pieces and a target man - I?d chance Fleming in a mid to lower premiership squad if I?m honest he?s not prolific but a big strong lad who?s not afraid to mix it up and he will score goals if given chances.

I think you are looking at Flemming through claret tinted glasses army.Lower PL clubs have strikers like Richarlison and Gibbs White.Flemming is not even close to that level. He could still develop into a better striker given a more offensive set up but at the moment he will probably go to a promoted club-Millwall being the most likely if they get promoted.
I have stated on here many times that Parkers negative tactics will come back to bite us when we get to the annual fire sale.Kompany had a couple of players that shone in his gung ho set up like Berge and Odabert. Our players have never been put in the shop window by Parker with his tactics therefore nobody really knows what they are actually capable of in a more attacking set up.

He is good with the ball at his feet, but weak in the air and tackle, and that's why 25 million would be excellent

Next seasons side will be unrecognisable from the one that started this. Rinse and repeat is a dangerous game, although Parker did an excellent job last time we were in the championship, might not be as lucky this time though
Even Harry Houdini eventually ran out of luck ballcock.

That miss in the first half against Villa showed exactly why we wont get big money for Flemming.10 yards out,the defender marking him has slipped, all he has to do is get it on target but he misses an absolute sitter which would have put us 2-0 up.You cannot miss chances like that in the PL.

We have needed a goal scoring centre forward all season CiB and it's not really fair to criticise a lad who can and does find the net but is NOT a recognised out & out striker. FFS where are Broja & Foster?

Foster came on yesterday and immediately had an impact-he gave the ball away twice with his first two touches.

For me we have to take stock of exactly who we are and why players are at Burnley in the first place

Fleming was a no10 playing in the championship - we took a chance he could step up in class and for his first season he?s done that - in a team that virtually made him no chances he?s managed to score 10 league goals - as I alluded to on a post Wood got 12-13 and is accepted as a striker in the premiership without argument - Fleming has had one go and for me improved in that he?s been asked to play no9 and reasons above still scored goals. ( the point is he can get goals at this level and will do a decent job fir someone
Example strand Larsen to palace 48 million 4 goals

( I?m not saying we?ll get that for him but you can see my thinking ).

Esteve is a very accomplished player he has parts of his game that need to improve but he?s 23 and he will become a better player - he has the attributes just needs bringing on ( another imo that will do well ).

Loum Tochouma - clearly has the attributes but has been starved as you say - I thought yesterday he shop windowed himself with glimpses of what he really can do given the opportunity and a system that says get at people.

                  Jaidon Anthony
Is a good honest footballer with the skill set to do well at this level - he struggled with us this year in 2 parts of the season however in a different team - set up he?s another who could excel - he can score goals at this level.

I?m not writing everyone else off but I think these 4 are worth a punt - it?s easy to say they won?t be after watching what I?ve had to suffer this season - as for chances missed as I said they wouldn?t be at Burnley if they didn?t miss chances - I see the best of the best miss chances - they play in teams though that make several more chances for them.

Spot on army. Decent players and can hold their own in many teams in the overrated PL. Flemming has done very well indeed with 10 goals in 29 appearances with only 21 of those starting a match. ANthony has his faults, however, he too can score goals.
Tchaouna was certainly putting himself in the shop window yesterday and did himself no harm at all
in only his 15th start of the season.
Esteve will have benefited hugely from this season and will now know what he must do to his game to hack it at this level.

How many players will be leaving is the unanswered question among many others, such as next manager etc

Flemming has half a dozen suitors according to the football media rumour mill. How much Pace will demand is still not certain.

Whatever we get for him it won't be enough, we'd get twice as much for him in 12 months time, but the rent man's knocking on the door.

Word is the vultures are circling for Jaidon Anthony, I suppose it will all boil down to can Pace hold his nerve and get the right money for him?

EPL teams need players who can guarantee you at least ten goals a season, Flemming & Anthony give a team that. I'll clean the taxi.

Espanyol got three points today to ease their relegation worries and Pace's blood pressure may well come down.
