  • Flemming first to go?

Rumours of 20-25 million quid offers on the table for Flemming.

Pace will be rubbing his grubby little hands.

No doubt he will be gone as he is arguably our only asset of any substantial value. All the rest are Championship fodder at best.Laurent,Ekdal,Humphries more like League 1.The acclaimed recruitment by stat analytics will come back to bite ALK in the fire sale. The club is in deep dodo.

Well it's a start, but we'll need a few bob more than that to keep the wolf from the door, and where the rest is coming from, Esteve apart, I have no idea.

Anthony 20 million - Leeds want him allegedly.

        Mejbri - 20 million.

Hartman - money back 8 million.

        Sambo - 2 million.

        Sonne - 4 million.

        Ekdal - 4 million.

        Tchaouna - money back - 12 million.

Ugochukwa - Galatasaray want him reportedly - money back? 20 million.

Hountondji - if St Pauli stay up he's staying there - 4 million.

Koleosho FC Paris - 4 million and that's a BIG loss!

        Laurent - Portsmouth 2.5 million.

These "rumours" are well founded but are not going to make much difference to our balance sheet given the fact we will be around 80 million worse off with the loss of EPL TV revenue.

          If the money is right...

Former France youth international Maxime Esteve (23) is being linked with a move away from Burnley, following the club's relegation back to the EFL

So it looks like we have no team then again to fight the championship with? Is that we are saying; if so it's Div 1 here we come. If Fleming goes out the door we have no striker worth a bean for starters. I don't think that's what ALK have in mind for their investment as much as they have screwed up.

Nonsense. If more than two clubs want the same player the price finds its proper level.

What worries me is why are we letting Koleosho leave for shirt buttons?

Why was he allowed out on loan anyway when we had and played with no pace.

                  We should Parker the enigma

Leverkusan are looking at Esteve along with Everton. If Everton are serious we could possibly get 25 million for him, still a lot of money for a player yet to prove himself at Premier League level, although still only 23

He is good with the ball at his feet, but weak in the air and tackle, and that's why 25 million would be excellent

Next seasons side will be unrecognisable from the one that started this. Rinse and repeat is a dangerous game, although Parker did an excellent job last time we were in the championship, might not be as lucky this time though

Not forgetting a few bob that Amdouni and Tresor will bring in.

Flemming and Esteve apart, if any two clubs start a bidding war for any of our other players, I'll show my arse in Burton's window.

I've watched about 30 games live this season with the kids at games and I honestly reckon Humphreys, Esteve, Walker, Hartman, Tuanzebe, Mejbri, Ugochukwa, Luis, Anthony, Edwards, Flemming along with the injured Amdouni could all walk into 15 or 16 EPL player squads.

I still maintain a firm belief that Parker did not have a clue how to get a tune out of them. Parker never had a settled starting eleven or formation.

If Supersub6 reads this I'd like him to confirm the truth of that statement.

I watched the Palace game last night and the commentator said that Glasner never deviates from his starting eleven unless injuries or suspensions make him deviate from his plan. I wish we could have had the Dyche strategy - play 4-4-2 and team "as per programme", we might have had a chance of staying up.

I'm trying to leave us with the bones of a team Sammy.

I echo your sentiments Sinky. After the performances this season I would be surprised if any decent offers come in for anybody including Esteve.O?Shea was far superior in every department yet he went to Ipswich for a nominal fee.Flemming is not exactly Ronaldo. He was simply the best of a bad bunch and that is why he marginally stood out.He hardly had stiff competition with Foster and Broja FFS.
Add to that the dire financial situation and the chances of us trying to hold out for decent money for anybody is highly unlikely.
