IÂ’ll hold my hand up BT and say Ekdal was right imo immense

However as always Foster never gets the credit he deserves, today he was for me absolutely amazing did over and above his job and for me was one of our better players again. Seems to me that credits where itÂ’s due and we should praise the lad when heÂ’s had a v good day.

              Edwards Hanibal Cullen Ugo Antony
              Foster

4-5-1 with flexibility to be 4-3-3 at times

We should at some point see Loum, and Broja, and perhaps Axel too in what may be a strong 11 to finish the game.

Side note: Get Foster some more support and give him quality ball he will score. Last week he got none of the former and was chasing lost causes but still did well. A chance to silence some of his many critics. Just putting some thoughts out.
A good measured post this wm. I think several players fired an answer at their critics. Foster, Ekdal, Anthony and Cullen in particular. Parker got that important first home win and was vindicated for his starting eleven and substitutions. A clean sheet to boot. We will be stronger when our currently missing & injured can be called upon. Predicting how we will fare on match day is not proving easy for me at least. I thought there would be 3 goals in the Spurs game and 2 v Sunderland. There were but I remain pointless in the league.

Thanks Sir Outwood. Foster was brilliant, he now looks fit and hungry, he can hold the ball up, is quick enough, and he can score goals, his goal should have stood today, poor effing reffing in my book.
Need to special mention Hartman, what a player he is, the most exquisite attacking left back.
Hope Esteve and Ugo are ok for next Saturday at Old Trafford, with Esteve a bit concerning. Fingers crossed for good news.

I was surprised at how small a side the Black Moggies are. I was equally surprised how easily we beat them. I was really pfhucking surprised how well Ekdal & Foster played and special mentions to Dubravka, Walker, Hartman & Ugochukwa. All in all, the perfect afternoon.

Lots of praise being given today and rightly so, the lads were excellent.

What about the manager, who deserves praise for the way he set the team up and did his homework on Sunderland.

I thought Parker got it spot on tactically, with the performance and the tactics being a million miles apart from our last calamitous visit to the Premier league under Kompany

Foster looked the real deal at last, he was robbed of a goal, he did absolutely nothing wrong. For once we got lucky, we should have been a goal down after three minutes after some shocking defending, Prem teams aren't supposed to miss those but Sunderland did.

It's a good job that it wasn't Foster missing that chance for us ------BT would still be going on about it next May
Good win after all the euphoriia up in this part of the world when Sunderland won last week.
They will be difficult to beat at home because they will have their usual fanatic support but I was so pleased yesterday and have been walking around wearing my Burnley polo shirt this morning, just to irk a few of my friends. lol

Foster had a blinder yesterday mein freund along with Hannibal, the pair never gave the Mackems a chance to settle. It was a pity about the disallowed goal because it would have given his confidence a massive boost.

If you think he gets the footy wrong Warmy, you want to read his political diatribes. A broken clock is right more often than my mate.

Good to see that written down BT. I totally agree that it looked a harsh decision, although I have only seen it on TV.
It certainly would help his confidence if he scores, however, remember that in 22 starts in his last PL season he scored 5 and had 3 assists and we only scored 41 goals.
