Serious debates on here always end up getting nasty and personal Robus, and from my own perspective I don't need the crap.

Brother, it's not personal. You're another rando limey on an internet forum cheering for the death of his own. That makes you mainstream, an archetype in fact.

Robus we already have the British & American right wing media crucifying an elected British government who have yet hardly drawn their first breath. I gave up on trying to reverse this crap 3 years ago after 50 years of earnestly trying.

We have an Israeli government committing atrocities not seen on a scale since Rwanda and Biden wants more of the same. I will get jail time for protesting and I'm too old to do more jail time.

I'd keep quiet mon ami, I've known people get sectioned who had a better grip on reality and were more lucid than you.

Your comment is just the sort of reason I no longer argue politics sinkov. I will happily spend what's left of my time on Planet Earth living my own reality.

You know well with us mon ami, it's not personal, I attack your political views, you attack mine, if you were in Clitheroe this afternoon I'd happily meet up for a coffee or a pint and a chat, we'd put the world to rights in no time. My political point is that you continually bang on about genocide in Gaza and have been for years, every time the IDF responds to an attack from Hamas you Lefties wheel out tired, old Mr Genocide.

When the IDF withdrew from Gaza in 2005 the population was 1.3 million, it's now 2.1 million. Do the math, it's not rocket science mon ami.

              • I was just reading across Facebook (05.09.24) and discovered even our latest futile Jew supporting government acknowledge they risk being part of the Palestinian genocide and have made a token gesture by refusing a few licences for arms supply to Israel.

A Facebook user wrote, “Eventually it shows that you really have to be a piece of $hit human being to stay quiet about the atrocities being committed against the Palestinian people.”

A Facebook panel member on the decision to allow Facebook users to quote, “From the River to the Sea” citing the term to be not generically anti-Semitic, “There has been an unacceptable and deeply disturbing rise in anti-Semitism and Islamophobia on and offline. But context is crucial. Simply removing political speech is not a solution. There needs to be room for debate, especially during times of crisis.”

Greta Thunberg was recently arrested in Copenhagen by armed police for protesting about the Copenhagen University having collaborative ties with Israeli University institutions. Here in the UK, we are incarcerating geriatric protesters who wish us to cease our dependency on oil.

A 7 day Israeli military operation in Jenin in the occupied #WestBank has destroyed 70% of its roads, according to local officials.
This type of destruction is something that has been described by the UN as a 'coercive environment', effectively making #Jenin unliveable for Palestinians in order to force them out.

The IDF are now building further partitioning roads in Gaza, effectively segregating the north from the south.
Another Facebook user wrote: “Benjamin Netanyahu’s family originally had the surname Mileikowsky when they immigrated to stolen land in Palestine from Poland in the 1920s.

Like most current day so-called "Israeli's", he has no ancestral origins in the Middle East. They're European colonizing occupiers and many hold dual citizenship in their countries of origin.

The Zionist claim that Palestine is land promised to them by their God Jehova is complete bull$hit fantasy nonsense, a flimsy excuse for stealing land that clearly belongs to the indigenous people being "ethnically cleansed" (irradicated).

They changed their surname to Netanyahu, which means "given by God".

The revival of Hebrew and the adoption of Hebrew names was an attempt to legitimize the colonization of Palestine. If they had kept their European names, it would have been even more obvious that they were just colonizers, but if they identified as ancient Jews, they thought it would give more seeming legitimacy to stealing Palestinian land.

Whatever they call themselves, they're still just murderous land stealing genocide perpetrators and brutal colonizing occupiers.”

I fear we protest not enough.

I know it's only a copy and paste job mon ami, nevertheless I would beware the knock on your door, the next one might be the men in white coats, not the bizzies.

No it's not rocket science sinkov, it is estimated that up to 1.9 million people in Gaza have been internally displaced – about 90% of the population of the Strip, estimated by the UN to be around 2.1 million people. Shocking, it really is.

It's war, and a proctored one at that. We have forgotten real war. When Zhukov's tanks came to town, people got out of the way the best they could. Don't recall? Wait a while. You will find out when the rivers of blood flow.

This must be the most one-sided "war" in the history of war. 2.1 million people trapped into an enclave from which there is no escape. Ducks in a barrel is more like the situation, it certainly is not a war."

Big mistake by Hamas wasn't it, or is this what they wanted ?

I think it was exactly what Netanyahu wanted mon ami. The current IDF military style operations in Gaza and more recently in the West Bank are incontrovertibly testing the legal boundaries of what Israel will be allowed to pursue and maintain and get away with.

Seeing that the Biden administration seems hell bent on allowing the Israeli performative ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, I really don’t give two hoots about the intentions of Hamas or Hezbollah. Netanyahu does not want a ceasefire nor do Hamas and the Palestinians remain trapped between a rock and a hard place.

Netanyahu does not want a ceasefire, the IDF are tightening the net on the terrorist scum, if they weren't using the humanitarian aid lorries for food and ammo they'd be defeated already. It's only a matter of time now, the IDF have their foot on the scum's neck and, quite naturally, Netanyahu doesn't want them to take it off.

Interesting to learn that last October the Israelis estimated that Hamas had built around 250 kilometres of tunnels. They reckon now the true extent of them is somewhere between 500 and 600 kilometres.

                              • Hersh Goldberg-Polin. Murdered by terrorist scum.

The 23-year-old Israeli American became one of the most recognizable faces of the enduring hostage crisis, after he was taken at gunpoint by Hamas militants from the Nova music festival. Banners and murals demanding his return were often displayed in Jerusalem and around the world.

When Hamas gunmen poured into southern Israel on October 7, Goldberg-Polin and his friends were forced to hide inside a small bomb shelter. As the militants began to lob grenades into the bunker, Goldberg-Polin rushed to throw them out, before his arm was blown off from the elbow down, according to a firsthand account from his friend.

                                REST IN PEACE
