I'm glad he's gone Sir Outwood. Time for the others to step up to the plate. I'm expecting massive input from Hannibal.Originally posted by outwoodclaret View PostIf Brownhill did not shine in the EPL then he was not alone because the last time we were there not too many were much good. Berge, Odobert and O’Shea were exceptions and I thought Amdouni was also quality. Trafford through no fault of his own suffered too but has subsequently proved his value.

A very good question, it's been obvious for more than 12 months that Brownhill wanted away this summer, so why he hasn't been snapped up by now is puzzling.Originally posted by ballcock View PostBrownhill is a strange one. You would have thought that he would have found a club by now. Toronto was rumoured to have offered him ridiculous money, so why the long winded wait?

He's out of contract so the only cost is signing on fee and wages. Is our Josh being greedy over the signing on fee ?Originally posted by Swissclaret View PostPerhaps he thinks he PL quality but no-one agrees. He is good at Championship level but maybe he is too expensive for most of the clubs at that level

The likes of Chelsea and Man City will be off loading their fringe players later in the window either for sale or on loan. These type of players will be of interest to the likes of ourselves, Leeds and a few other lower premier league clubs. This will only make Brownhill less appealing, so he better make a move soon

I read somewhere that he wanted a signing on fee of ?15 million. I expect that his wages are relatively high for some Champioship clubs.Originally posted by sinkov View PostHe's out of contract so the only cost is signing on fee and wages. Is our Josh being greedy over the signing on fee ?

Correction sinkov, our fans don't want him to play for us because they say he is not good enough. I don't blame him for looking for the best deal he can get and where he just might be appreciated by the fans. Good luck to him.Originally posted by sinkov View PostHe doesn't want to play for us, so feck him.

I don't think all our fans don't want him to play for us Sub, I'd be happy if he'd signed a new contract, you would and I'm sure many others would as well. I doubt Josh has considered what our fans want anyway, he's just looking after himself, which is fair enough. I say feck him because he's no longer a Burnley player, and like all players who aren't ours, I have no interest in them, feck the lot of them.Originally posted by Supersub6 View PostCorrection sinkov, our fans don't want him to play for us because they say he is not good enough.
