The other reason is that the site seems more difficult to access these days and I can't always be arsed with the struggle. But because people aren't engaging on the site does not equate to them not, as you put it, "giving a fck". That is an offensive suggestion. I have been supporting the club for the greater part of 50 years and seen some real dross. It is, while not always being brilliant, a hell of a lot better these days than it was back then. However, I ain't getting into a pointless debate about coaching versus non coaching as I have a life.
Point 2. I (unfortunately) don?t have any problems with access.
Point 1. Totally agree. It?s so tedious. I too am a veteran of 50plus years and have seen some dross.
The only possible way Mikes tactics would work, is if every team player the same system as but they won?t, so we would drop like a stone.

It's boring but if the principle is valid, so is the tedious replies. Would you get Jimmy Greaves or the manager of Swindon to change their views as they are the same as mine?

The problem why it sounds tedious is simple. This site should have at least a hundred fans posting and there is virtually none and so what else are 9000 fans doing after each match?

Thing is, I was a professional chartered railway engineer and my job was to analyse problems and then suggest solutions. Fans here offer nothing apart from a couple of others. I despise losing matches and more so by 1-0 when the manager insists on playing formations that are based wholly on defence and like having five players at the back including the GK and so what is he trying to do? Win by the odd goal? Are 9000 fans turning up and paying 20 odd quid to see our team pissing about with 500 passes of the ball and lots of them going to the opposition as well. And then hopefully having one shot or no shots on goal? I mean who trains these amateurs to manage football clubs. And believe it or not we are fourth divsion. ie the bottom of the professional leagues despite us spending what? 10 million pounds over the last ten seasons??

I cannot believe our board of Directors can be happy about our standard of play and do nothing about it month on month. I would have LB in the boardroom the next day, asking him what the hell is going on and then give him notice to change things or else!

Fans are deluded to think we would drop like a stone if we changed things back to how football SHOULD be played. How about changing the corners and having four strikers in the team? How about trying it out? Oh sorry we haven't got the players as we signed all defenders...etc etc..

We have existed for well over 100 years and it is boring to say that in all that time we never went out of the league and had some very good seasons and some very poor ones as well. Carlisle had ten thousand fans watching them play in the National League a few weeks ago and so its not a disaster to try things new and then adjust accordingly. But unfortunately football managers and coaches are not the brightest people about and they go with the status quo whatever that is..Change the corners? God, no, we may save a goal here and there or score a few more, we can't have that, can we....

I cannot understand how we could play so well against Tranmere away and then blow it the next couple of games? Is that the players or the management? Over to you and you have nothing else better to do and so think of solutions instead of being brain absenteism!

It needs to be pointed out that the Alex are in League 2 and as such, players can be inconsistent. Also our coaching staff are League 2 so are probably not as great as Real Madrid's coaching staff. Nobody is suggesting that all coaches are equal and therefore results might reflect this. Just saying, against my better judgement.

No, we are a FOURTH division club, not L2 whatever they want to call it..

We used to play Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Brentford, and some others who are in the PL and we are still Fourth Division and why is that? We sold our best players, we pay the lowest wages in the four leagues?

No matter what the level of coaching, the principle of playing five at the back and one striker is so stupid, its unbelievable..ManU cat do much nowadays and so is that the players are not good enough or the manager isn't?

Anyone can change the system of playing for a few games but if we haven't got the players ie Strikers, then who can we blame for that? The manager or the Board?
