Schiphol didn't actually shut completely but there were hundreds of flights cancelled. Checked everyday and the flights to Fuerteventura by both Tui and Transavia flew both ways.Originally posted by swaledale View PostWas Schipol open then? A friend of mine has been stuck there for 2 days since Thursday morning.

Reckon must be the weather in the Atlantic right now. Our weather in Cape Verde pre Xmas was a lot cloudier than usual in December, plus bits of rain which never happensOriginally posted by Ram Pant View PostWorse January weather than normal. Stronger wind, force 6 on Wednesday. First 2 nights we had rain but we were asleep so that was OK. On 2 different days we had 2 90 second long showers. 5 minutes later, everywhere was dry again. People we know who have lived there for more than 20 years say it's by far the worst December/early January they have experienced. Our 3rd January trip and it's the worst Jan weather we've experienced. Hopefully back to normal next year.
Having said that, rain in the night isn't a problem, a couple of showers idem ditto, 20 to 23 degrees in the daytime despite the strong winds is what we'd expect and it was what we got. Probably back there in May.

I'd disagree, the club's priority is Prem survival, they are also in the Europa league, FA Cup comes a long way behind those two competitions and the players he put in are supposedly good first team players who didn't perform. Squad rotation is inevitable with the number of games being played and one would have thought these players would want to stake a claim for a regular first team place, but obviously happy to moan and pick up their 6 figure pay packet every week!Originally posted by SithHappens View PostDyche is angry at his players but what did he expect? The FA Cup should have been a serious chance of a trophy for Forest and he makes 8 changes against a club on the up and with a lot of confidence.
Dyches fault 100%

That makes sense, I guess short haul flights get bumped to accommodate longer haul flights in those circumstances.Originally posted by Ram Pant View PostSchiphol didn't actually shut completely but there were hundreds of flights cancelled.
