Disappointing end to the season especially losing the last match on your own muck heap.
Whether it be all the injuries aggravated by a spate of late goals costing us points mid season or simply that we fell short because we simply ain't there yet? Who knows but Eustace and Clowes have plenty to do during the summer to revamp the squad but for now overall an enjoyable season with the 'can we avoid the drop worry' well and truly banished!
Never mind the WC plenty of cricket to come. Sorry Sith!!😁

?not to mention all the will we/won?t and nonsensical rumours as far as incomings and outgoings are concerned. Be nice to get things done as quickly as possible, but that can be difficult when we may be waiting till the last minute on loans from the Prem.

Could have been 4 up at HT. Could have been 4 down by the end. It all just caught up with us in the end. No complaints. Que sera, que sera.

Unforunate attempted back pass for their first and that seemed to lift them and demoralise us. Happy enough with the season overall.

WC? Not overly excited by the prospect as yet. Obviously, I shall be interested in the results of the 2 countries whose citizenship I enjoy. I will also have a sneaky eye on Iran's progress, and hope that their players and staff get a) well treated and b) not troubled by ICE or protestors.
Maybe wrong but I can't see Iran playing in the WC. I may watch the odd match, but International football in tournaments is generally dire, so will have better things to do frankly.

From barely escaping relegation to just missing out on the play offs within one season is not bad at all. Now the club can focus on next seasons recruitment and hpefully be fully prepared come August.

Picture doing the rounds on socials of Bobby Clark apparently buying a 205K Mercedes "Jeep". Biggest hint yet that he's staying or more online mischief?
