Not gullible Sith but Im prepared to wait for the truth to emerge. If hes bull****ting he deserves the slating hes getting on here and elsewhere, if hes telling the truth perhaps those quick to judge will reflect. I have an open mind, slightly slanted by, yes, he seems like a slippery bugger but also slanted the other way by having experienced (as a claimant) the frustration of court notices delivered to old addresses

He should have paid his debts, even if he did somehow not get it. You don't have a 10k debt and not know.Originally posted by Andy_Faber View PostNot gullible Sith but Im prepared to wait for the truth to emerge. And let's say he didn't know. When Angela Rayner didn't know she had a 40k underpayment on her stamp duty Reform, including Farage, said ignorance was no excuse. Same applies.

Hes claimed it was a nuisance claim and being a reasonable fellah Ill decide my opinion on the matter when thats been flushed out. I can see the problem with that of course, without a bit of conjecture thered be no tittle tattle for the news to report and nothing for folk to get angry aboutOriginally posted by SithHappens View PostHe should have paid his debts, even if he did somehow not get it. I read yesterday that someone (I forget who) gave Farage an ultimatum. Report the hack to the police within a given time frame or they would do it for him.Originally posted by SithHappens View PostFarage not reporting his phone hack by the Russians to the authorities can only mean 1 of 2 things.
Hes negligent not reporting it, or hes lying.

…and returning to the main event, ‘has anyone seen Nigel?’
He has now failed to vote on anything over the last 75 days.
He last voted - against draft regulations for the Employment Rights Act - on 18th March.
He has now been absent for the last 77 consecutive Parliamentary votes.
He rarely appears in Clacton…so, in answer to the question. I’ve no idea, but he certainly isn’t where he’s paid approaching 100k of tax payers money to be.

Its weird isnt it but I'm sure the good burghers of Clacton will remove him at the next opportunity if they feel he has let them down, yet curiously I havent seen much negative press from those in Clacton who voted him in - only from others who fankly have minimal skin in that game.
Not voting in Parliament - yes not what hes elected to do but in all honesty there is little point anyone voting on anything such is the government majority. Not excusing his absenteeism, and if he was spending more time in his constituency this probably would be a better use of his time - but he doesnt appear to do that either. Nice work if you can get it

It appears thast the much maligned Nigel has "been too busy to vote in Parliament". I, and no doubt, his constituents would love to know exactly what he's been doing when he's been too busy for both them and voting in Parliament (and feasibly not being there either).
He had a poor attendance record in the Euro Parliament as well. He was also on one of the EP committees or commissions, attended 1 out of, IIRC, 43 scheduled meetings). Probably simply too busy...

He really is a despicable piece of you know what isn’t he? Someone who will stop at nothing to cause disruption and further his own political agenda and ambition via the vilest of point scoring.Originally posted by SithHappens View PostHe should have stayed hidden after his appalling comments today on the horrific murder of Henry Nowak.
Hes a disgrace, I cant imagine any decent person defending comments calling for violence.
Such a tragic and dreadful case, but please compare and contrast the attitude of Farage with that of Henry Nowak’s father who, even at such an unimaginably difficult time, has said that he doesn’t want his son’s murder to be a source of further division within the country.Last edited by ramAnag; 02-06-2026, 04:15 PM.

As you say Henry Nowak's father responded with dignity and used emotional, thoughtful and responsible words.
100% answers are needed over the police actions but this is not the wayLast edited by SithHappens; 02-06-2026, 10:53 PM.
