We're almost at ten years so of course there's retrospective stuff on TV, one of the best is 'Brexit: A Very British Civil War'. A bloody shambles on all sides to my eyes and ears. Worth a watch, and relax, On BBC so you don't have to retune

Not arguing against this being a Brexit issue but its also a rest of world issue and the number of EU airports making a horlicks of this is losing European resorts businessOriginally posted by SithHappens View Posthttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20yxd790k5o
Had hoped Greece wouldn't be doing this after their previous announcement.
Fingers crossed no issues in a few weeks when I travel back.

Yeah its crap really. I would imagine a big % of passengers would be UK though. So the volume might be better if some agreement had been reached on UK passengers.Originally posted by Andy_Faber View Post

Im on a package this time so will be expecting Jet2 to ensure im processed in time. My 2nd trip should be less of an issue as you dont have as much to do on subsequent trips.

We’re flying BA and they are pretty good at hanging round for passengers who’ve bag dropped. Our American friends (also ex Athens) have been advised to arrive 4 hours early for a 7am flight! It’s a balls up though especially as it’s being inconsistently appliedOriginally posted by Andy_Faber View Post

A work colleagues elderly parents missed a flight a few weeks ago, cant remember where but they ended up spending 12 hours in the airport to get the next available flight.
Personally id hope if you are on a package with transfer then the tour operator would assume someone responsibility, that said 2 years ago in cape verde it was looking like we might miss a flight due to slow check in, security and passport control abd the tui reps all conveniently vanished.
Im also willing to bet a good portion of passengers don't help by being unprepared, the guidance says have your passport ready and open, have glasses removed but bet loads don't.
Bit like security when people get to their turn and only then start removing belts, jackets etc.
Or scanning boarding cards only for it to be on their phone and they hold up the queue because they cant find it.
