Not sure how seeing as you have just demonstrated a total lack of understanding of reality? I thought you were dim and this last post has demonstrated how dim you really are.

So in essence you arguing I'm wrong when you can actually find out the facts from a simple internet search, just because it doesn't fit in with your niave view of the world doesn't mean that I'm wrong, just that your too thick to undertsand facts.

Yes paid mercenaries, people paid to do whatever a politician decides, including kill others whatever the circumstances and irrespective of whether the action is legal (see Iraq, Suez, Malaysia). I ahve no issue with force to protect freedom and democracy, I ahve an issue with politically motivated conflcits which are legally and morally dubious, trouble is if your a paid mercenary, you have no choice. But then by your own admission your involved in the "defence" industry - mm bet the people of Yemen, especially those school kids in that bus really appreciate you definition of "defence".

Still I guess you have a clear conscience in that nothing you have done has ever contributed to the illegal and unwarranted death of any person anywhere in the world, that your happy you earn a living through the sale of arms to countries that use them against civilian targets, or even to subdue their own people? Or perhaps it doesn't bother you that those same weapons manufactured by our "defence" industry were sold to regimes that ended up using them against our own paid mercenaries?

Very good, except, one we don't have the capability, Mordaunt doesn't have a ****ing clue, she has been in the job 5 minute show the **** does being outside the EU (she is by the way an arch Brexiteer so she would say that wouldn't she?)her predecessor Williamson was talking about sending an aircraft carrier to the the south china sea, before someone whispered in his ear, "Eh we don't have any aircraft to operate on it yet"


Quite how being outside the EU have any impact on our independent defence capability is frankly puzzling - quite how we will afford any meaningful defence capability if the economy is ****ed is a relevant question and then just ****ing look up where we rank in the world in armed forces strength, its not difficult.

I will repeat for the third time, as things stand, we have a veto on being involved in any EU Army, that means we don't have to join, so voting for Brexit purely to avoid that is complete and utter nonsense!

It seems there are many on here who frankly do not know, care or understand the facts - the UK is no longer (and hasn't been for some decades) a global military power! Wake up and smell the coffee folks!

I’m not getting involved in any of the name calling bollux, MoP...but you really can’t blame the BBC and as for the Remainers being guilty of ‘propaganda’...can we please not forget Boris’ bus which appeared on TV everyday for weeks around the time of the Referendum and Farage’s poster.
For me they were the two most blatant pieces of propaganda in the whole campaign and while the ‘Leavers’ used to regularly bang on about ‘Project Fear’ they too used exactly - and continue to do so - the same tactics only in relation to immigration rather than our economic future.

Swale, you know nothing about our countries armed forces, and by the way we are not mercenaries as they are people who fight for another country for money. We serve our country, not for money. You mention Malaysia, well I fought there and in Borneo but it was at the request of the Malaysian government, for which same government awarded me a medal, I was also awarded a citation by the Queen. Something which I feel you will never get. You say Penny Mordaunt knows nothing, she has and still is an officer in the Naval reserve. You say we have no aircraft for our carrier's, the Queen Elizabeth sails next month for aircraft testing and trials of which at present there are 14, with a futher 18 being delivered from factory,We have 148 F35b Lightning fighters on order. How on earth do you work that out? Every time a ‘no deal’ Brexit appears likely or those who support the idea appear in the ascendency the £ falls.
The prospect of Brexit is about as appealing to the currency gurus as it is to British Steel.
