Virtually everyone recognises the complexities of immigration along with both the advantages and disadvantages which are not remotely unique to this country.
Not everyone bangs on endlessly about the subject - in tandem with their latest anti new government related conspiracy theories - in over 70% of their posts.

What confuses me is the fact that Florist are riding high in the 'how much can we screw off the fans league' and yet when was the last time TTR mentioned his allegedly beloved club.

Give that comment some thought.

1. It will set Andy off and folks will accuse me of rubbing it in.

2. Any foreign players in a football team, have to qualify for a work permit which are tighter than the usual immigrant route.
They are also cherry picked as highly desired and definitely won't be fleecing anything off the state. Their income will be spent in the country and be a massive spend.

Very true and equally disappointing. Don’t suppose Trump can make too much of it given that he seems to have a very long list of those he intends to pardon but that’s hardly the point.

If I chortled it was, as I remember, at a certain poster’s gleeful assertion that Mme Le Pen was about to take over in France. She wasn’t and the notion that France was about to spontaneously combust last summer was a million miles from the truth, I was there for a while and it was as beautiful and peaceful as ever.

For the record I have never been a fan of Barnier and the left are as keen on his removal as Le Pen’s mob.

All you’re really seeing is yet another example of the level of polarisation that exists within so many major western nations at the moment, eg France, Germany, the USA and, to a lesser extent (at least on the evidence of the last GE) the UK and that has to be a concern.
