In situations like this where an unbiased conclusion is required I usually refer to Deepseek, I'm sure you don't because of your boycott of china so I've included both the Deepseek and ChatGPT response to the question 'was Tyler Robinson influenced by Nick Fuentes or Groyper?' Note I've used the word 'influenced' not 'aware of', on the same basis that I'm 'aware of' the Nottingham Forest Website but not influenced by it.

Deepseek: While Robinson's online activity included elements that sometimes appear in Groyper-related spaces, there is no conclusive evidence that he was influenced by Nick Fuentes. His actions appear more rooted in a broader, irony-soaked online culture than in a specific ideological framework

ChatGPT: There’s no confirmed evidence so far that Robinson was directly influenced by Nick Fuentes or the Groypers—or that he formally belonged to those groups.

So the reports appear to lack foundation

You also stated that he was 'MAGA'

Deepseek he say 'while Robinson grew up in a conservative, Trump supporting family, his own political affiliation was unaffiliated, and his actions and messages suggest views opposed to the MAGA movement'. The investigation is ongoing but current evidence does not suport the idea that he was affilliated to MAGA'

      'Right Wing'

Deepseek advises ''Tyler Robinson is not considered right wing based on available evidence'

      'Mormon'

Not sure what the relevance is but anyway

Deepseek tells me 'Robinson was raised in a Mormon environment but likely not a practising Mormon at the time of the shooting. His trajectory shows a shift from a devout upbringng to radicalization in online spaces, leading to a rejection of the faith's communal and non-violent values'

I think you picked the wrong source for your info MA

        1) The forum has become technically dreadful i.e unreliable and horribly time consuming if one is trying to post in anything approaching legible and literate English.
        2) You have become the antithesis of a moderator eg you have improved nothing, are incapable of accepting you may be wrong or have made a mistake, and all too regularly incite unpleasantness while blaming others.

All in all, I have enjoyed the contributions and ?company? of MA, Swale (most of the time ) Sith, mac and RS, along with others in days gone by - even RR, but in all other ways it is no longer a pleasant or constructive place to ?be?.
        1) OK I'll say this for the last time, I'm not responsible for the technical issues with the forum, everyone but you seems to accept that. I've messaged (no longer available), emailed (no response), phoned (no answer), even snailmailed (no response), I've tried to find the perps on facebook and linkedin (no luck) and I don't feel inclined to drive to the head office, if you feel that's part of my remit we'll have to agree to differ. Its a nuisance to us all, you make more of a fuss about it than everyone else combined, thats an observation not a criticism

        2) I've made a start by paying more attention to the accuracy of facts being posted, see my two earlier posts regarding a a post yesterday by MA, strangely 'nodded through' by everyone but me. The next time there's doubt about anything I post myself we'll refer to an AI for adjudication, I found that useful with the MA case and usually refer to Deepseek before I post anything factual

        3) your list of posters you 'like' appears to correspond with those who openly share your overall POV or don't express a strong POV at all, and by deduction you dislike those who don't share your POV. I'll leave that one for other posters to reflect on, remembering that this is a footy forum where we should all have a common love

Right I'm off to cut the grass before Mac tells me to

          1) I didn’t say you were. You asked why I thought it was a waste of time. The technical issues often mean it now takes ten minutes to post what used to take two…and that’s when you can get on. That is a waste of my - and everyone else’s - time and if you can no longer even communicate with the ‘owners’ then what, honestly, is the point of us having a moderator? You’re just another poster really aren’t you?

          2) Nobody ‘nods through’ posts. MA may or may not be correct. At this stage I don’t know and neither, despite your somewhat patronising put down, do you. As for accuracy. Have a think back to some of your own claims.

          3) It really isn’t about liking people. I don’t KNOW anyone on here to like or dislike them. A couple have provided a friendly invitation to meet but the opportunity hasn’t really conveniently arisen and I’d actively choose not to meet a couple of others, but I doubt that either RR (pre GP transition) or RS share my views and although it is true that I invariably see eye to eye with Swale where politics/world views are concerned I think I’d probably differ slightly from Sith, MA and mac, but we never fall out. Maybe you should ponder on that one. Possibly has something to do with mutual respect.

P.S. This post was a classic example of (1) above. Took three minutes to type and ten more to correct (twice) thanks to all the technically produced errors.

          • Ta AF for the AI reports.

Not looking at reports from any sources, just having seen the video of the alleged shooter leaving the roof, I have a question regarding it. The FBI has said they found the rifle in the woods. I'm presuming on this that they mean the woods towards which the alleged shooter ran. Hard to see that they are referring to a different wood. On the video, it doesn't look as though the alleged shooter is carrying a rifle. I'm trying to understand how someone without a rifle can dump said rifle in the woods. How did he do it?

I thought 'dumping in the woods' was a bit random but who knows what goes through someone's mind when they've just shot someone. I'm sure 'Utah Uni Roof' and 'the woods' will be the grassy knoll and book depository of the 21st century

I see the level of acrimony is still elevated

Temperamental is the word, yesterday I could have redecorated the whole house whilst waiting to gain access but today seems OK!

                              1963 revisited, hey?

Now, regarding my quandary. How did the rifle end up in the woods to be found if the alleged shooter didn't have it in his possession when he got down from the roof?

Anyhoo, I thought it was bears that "dumped" in the woods

Looks like it although I doubt (and hope) there will be a Jack Ruby this time

I don't know, but having trawled social media It doesn't matter, or rather it makes no difference what the truth is or turns out to be.

The killer mayor may not have thought through his actions beyond the immediate, but even I, surprised by little, have been taken back by some of the goings on since it happened
