I liked him, always gave his all, but be interesting to know how many of those appearances were ninety minutes or anything like. Seems to be repeatedly troubled by hamstrings and knees and despite playing for seven or eight clubs I think this’ll be the first time he’s gone for a fee.

I don't know but 74 appearances demonstrates availability over and above what we might perceive?
Just think he has quality that can make a difference.
If the fee enables us to do something, or frees up salary, fair enough. I just know whenever I've seen him in the team I've felt good because he's a bloody good footballer.

Depending on who's guesstimates you read, his wages are somewhere between 17.5k and 20k a weekOriginally posted by SithHappens View PostI don't know but 74 appearances demonstrates availability over and above what we might perceive?

It really has been an impressive window and those responsible deserve every credit.Originally posted by swaledale View PostBen Brereton Diaz signed on a season long loan!
Derby supposedly interested in Patrick Roberts from Sunderland, another Rams "old boy"
Hope we can live up to renewed expectation.
Strangely I can’t remember a thing about Patrick Roberts. Senior moment or very forgettable? He’s certainly put in plenty of appearances for Sunderland over the last three seasons.

I don't get the criticism of Kenzo. He started last season well playing as the AM. We had a run of 10 or 11 games with Ozoh at 6, Ebou at 8 and Kenzo as the 10. It worked. They all played well and we were up to the dizzy heights of 11th. Then Ozoh got injured, Kenzo was moved back to the 6 role and, yes, he hasn't been particularly good since. Probably because he's not a 6. Why we started this season with Ebou at 10 and Kenzo as a DM again is a mystery.

Completely agree with that last sentence but, as far as Kenzo is concerned, it’s a long time since that run of 10 or 11 games.Originally posted by MadAmster View PostI don't get the criticism of Kenzo. Nice guy, good skills, excellent fitness record but it just hasn’t worked out.
I was away for most of last September and the first half of October - as I will be again from next week - and came back to rave reviews about him from people who know their stuff.
Seldom have I felt so disappointed in a player. Yes there have been flashes and he clearly has talent but the word which best fits his performances throughout 2025 is, imo, ‘anonymous’.
We have to get rid of a few off the payroll and unfortunately he looks likely to be one of them. Wish him well and suspect it’ll be destination Netherlands rather than MKD.Last edited by ramAnag; 01-09-2025, 09:07 AM.
