          There would not be child poverty in the U.K. if the absentee fathers paid the maintenance for the child (children) they have fathered even if it is deducted from their benefits. It is not the U.K. and Scottish taxpayers job to pay for the cost of bringing up these children.

                Child maintenance is deducted from certain benefits at the rate of ?7 a week but not from PIP or whatever it's called nowadays. Now given that that half the nation has either the Fibro, ADHD or Autism then the authorities are almost powerless to gather money from absentee parents.

                        Child maintenance should be deducted from PIP from absentee parents.
                        If mental hospitals were reopened throughout the U.K. you can be sure that the vast majority of people in the U.K. currently suffering from Fibro, ADHD or Autism would be magically cured.
