Just in general East to west in Dundee and vice versa takes far longer than it should ......North/South is still pretty much congestion free.

Don't disagree but the queues can be considerably worse at Old Glamis Road and Strathmartine Road roundabouts than at the Myrekirk lights. Lights can be optimized, roundabouts can't.

I find that attitude really sad and illogical. Does your hatred of JN overtake all other thoughts about the new stadium. I have made my position clear. I would rather remain at Dens but accept that this is not financially viable to our owners. In saying that I also reckon it is only 50:50 that the stadium will go ahead with planning delays, increased costs and the opposition of some of the council, the Civic Trust and a number of like minded supporters as yourself. What happens if it doesn't go ahead I don't know? Let's talk theoretically, however. Let's assume the stadium goes ahead and is successful financially and this rubs off on the team which is successful on the park. In those, arguably possible, circumstances would you still stand by your threat to never attend a home game again? Would your hatred of JN allow you to attend away games, would you become one of the ranks of 'supporter' who never attends a game of would you turn your back on your team for good? I still think your hatred of JN is all consuming and clouds totally your thoughts about the new stadium and the future of the club.

Finally, and again theoretically speaking, if the Americans sold up club, Dens and Camperdown and some other party wanted to progress similar plans would you still be so vehemently opposed?

I see it as like being a diabetic......do I get my toe aff now to save my leg or persevere for a few years doing the things I enjoy and get leg aff later.

I'd love to see my time oot playing at Dens.

I'd die an angry man seeing Dundee play at tannadice.

New stadium in the retail park is least worse option if I can't have A.

Just so I understand, if you come down from Broughty Ferry do you have to use the Myrekirk Roundabout to go back up the Kingsway to access the new stadium? In fact is that not the point that all traffic trying to get into the Stadium will have to use the Myrekirk Roundabout. As I say, I don't know. Sequencing of traffic flows seems to work but there are times of high demand when even that can't keep the traffic flowing, at least that's been my experience.

Bob Hynd told us at Dee4life board of directors meeting in late 2018 that Police Scotland wanted all the cars and buses of spectators attending football matches at the new stadium at Campy Nou to be parked in the stadium car parks.
Police Scotland did not want spectators cars and buses parked in the streets on the other side of the A90 Kingsway from the new stadium.

How many Xplore Dundee bus routes and buses per hour on a Saturday go near the new stadium compared to Dens Park.
The first wet day with heavy rain will decimate the attendance as spectators will not be prepared to get soaked walking a long distance to reach the new stadium at Campy Nou.

Building a new Main Stand in Dens Park with corporate boxes and upgrading the South Enclosure installing tip up seats would in my opinion cost a lot less than £100 million.
If the new stadium development goes ahead and it is a success the profits will be used to repay the debts incurred borrowing money to build the new stadium development assuming that the directors of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited can borrow the funds in the first place.
Dundee Football Club will be in a worse position financially than they are at present as they are unlikely to receive the profits from hospitality in the new stadium which they do at present in Dens Park.
There is a question which no one has asked.
Is Tim Keyes keen on the new stadium development at Campy Nou as he has never stated whether he is in favour or not.
All we hear is John Nelms banging on about it but there is never a ‘cheep’ from Tim Keyes about it.
At the second Pre Application Notice meeting in the Landmark Hotel on 27th September 2022 Tim Keyes never mentioned in the information about the new stadium development at the Camperdown retail park.

The plan includes a bus stop, pretty sure xplore Dundee would divert buses to cover that stop.

One route goes immediately past Dens Park on match days - the number 1. Other routes pass nearby, possibly as near as other routes that are currently running to the area of the proposed new stadium.

Having said all that I reckon we'll all be getting around on hover boards by the time any new stadium gets opened for the club.

Nelmsy told the DSA committee on Thursday 29th August 2024 that there were no transport issues with his planning application.
This was despite not supplying the information requested by the Dundee City Council planners in June 2024.
Perhaps Nelmsy just told the DSA Committee what they wanted to hear to keep them onside.
