At the Dee4life AGM in November 2023 a question was put to the 23 members at the meeting.Originally posted by Returnofrros View PostSome dafty called prince buster doesn't.
Would you attend Dundee FC home games if the club was forced to group share permanently at Tannadice.
Two members said that they would attend home games at Tannadice if Dundee Football Club were forced to permanently leave Dens Park and ground share at Tannadice with the rest of the members voting No to attending Dundee FC home games at Tannadice.

I've been up all night thinking of a good answer to this mind bending question and have come up short so here's all I can give youOriginally posted by ROMA84 View Postdid he tell you that he doesnt care? are you his carer?
No and no. But I reckon that because of your clear mental incapacity (being a DAB is a mental illness in my view) I'm 100% correct in saying he just doesn't care what you think about anything.

There has been a discussion on the Friends of Dundee FC Facebook page about the new stadium development at Campy Nou PPIP and why it has not been discussed by the members of the Dundee City Council planning committee.Originally posted by Returnofrros View Post194
One poster blamed the DCC planning committee members for this delay and suggested that they did not receive the right type of brown envelopes.
I told him to send an email to John Nelms asking him what was causing the delay.
If he does so it will be very doubtful if he receives a reply from Nelms.

I think that more and more think/know that the delay lies with John Nelms & the proposal. The silence is deafening at the moment. I wonder if the training ground will go ahead.Originally posted by islaydarkblue View PostThere has been a discussion on the Friends of Dundee FC Facebook page about the new stadium development at Campy Nou PPIP and why it has not been discussed by the members of the Dundee City Council planning committee.

I think there's more than a smidge of the fabulist about Nelmsy

It's all gonna come to a conclusion very shortly.
Might go thru in march......I have a strong suspicion it won't even be heard in march.
The lack of update from nelms, the lack of questioning from DSA, D4L and the local press damns them all really.

I reckon that the training ground will not go ahead as the Dundee FC Community Trust appears to be short of money.Originally posted by parcbara View PostI think that more and more think/know that the delay lies with John Nelms & the proposal. Charging a ?2 entrance fee to enter the Penman Lounge when it is not required for hospitality with the entrance fee money going to the Community Trust gives me the impression that the Community Trust are desperate for funds.
If my hunch is correct then why has this happened.
That is easy to explain.
When Greg Fenton was appointed General Manager of Dundee Football Club in addition to remaining the Chief Executive of the Dundee FC Community Trust he took his eye off the ball.
It is the Chief Executive of the Community Trust along with their board of Trustees who are responsible for sourcing funding and making funding applications to Charitable Foundations for funds to allow the Dundee FC Community Trust to remain in business.

If the training ground goes ahead Dundee Football Club will have to pay to use it as the planning application was submitted by the Dundee FC Community Trust which is registered as a charity with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) who are based at Riverside Drive in Dundee.Originally posted by Deeranged View PostI'm calling bullsh1t on the training ground too

Everything has to be above board with outside groups including Dundee Football Club paying to rent the training grounds at Riverside assuming that they are ever built.
In my opinion it suits Nelms to keep dragging things along as it keeps him in the public eye and he does not have to state where the funding for his new stadium development at Campy Nou is really coming from.
A 100 year mortgage on a depreciating commercial asset does not fit the bill especially as I have never heard of financial companies granting 100 year mortgages for a new commercial development.
I suppose Nelms could go ‘cap in hand’ to Soho Green to ask “Please sir came I have another ?95 million in funds to pay for my new stadium development at Campy Nou which is currently a piece of waste ground”.

Nelms is more interested in telling the members of the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce about his new stadium development than telling the Dundee supporters who contribute towards his lavish salary what is happening regarding his PPIP application submitted to Dundee City Council planning committee nearly a year ago.Originally posted by Returnofrros View PostIt's all gonna come to a conclusion very shortly.

It was stated at the DSA AGM on Saturday 31st August 2024 in answer to a question that John Nelms told the DSA committee members that he (Nelms) had answered all the questions submitted to him by the DCC planners.
However it is possible that Nelms told the DSA committee members what they wanted to hear instead of them asking searching questions regarding the planning application not being heard in August 2024 by the DCC planning committee which Nelms had stated when he submitted his PPIP application.
