I can 100% see why the developers would oppose the graded slip if it meant extra cost and if it's not absolutely necessary.[/QUOTE

Thats fair enough, but its wrong for nelms to sayTS have not provided any solutions, unfortunately at the end of the day , nelms needs TS approval to build a slip road off a TS road
But a preference isn't a solution. It's certainly a proposal but it solves nothing so why delay?

        You're a surprising individual.
I has been stated by several long standing Dundee FC supporters that advising Nelms of the availability of the site in the former NCR Camperdown playing fields being available as it had been advertised for sale for five years was the Dundee City Council officials Get out of jail card. The For Sale sign is still standing.
Perhaps Tim Keyes is trying to sell the site.
It transpires that Nelms had also been tipped off that the site of the old gas works on Dock Street, Dundee was also available.
I doubt if the old gas works site in Dock Street was big enough for a 15,000 seater stadium and car parks let alone a new stadium development site.
However Dock Street in Dundee is not a trunk road so Transport Scotland have no interest in any planning application on the site of the old gas works.

Colgan is certainly not worth his ?180k salary as he has been promoted in Dundee City Council despite his failure to do his job properly.
Colgan was the Dundee City Council Director of Finance when one of his employees stole almost ?1 million from Dundee City Council by diverting payments for invoices to this employee?s own bank accounts.
Colgan was promoted to Director of Corporate Affairs while his corrupt employee was suspended awaiting his trial at the High Court.
Colgan was in charge of selling Dundee House to a Canadian insurance company on a sale and lease back deal which will cost the Dundee City council taxpayers more money in the long run.
Dundee City Council had to spend ?500k on the Dundee House roof before the Canadian insurance company would accept the deal.
Colgan was then promoted to be the Chief Executive of Dundee City Council with little mention about his promotion apart from in local authority websites and publications.

            The question is.
Does Nelms really want the new stadium development at Campy Nou or is he rejecting TS graded slip road solution to keep kicking the can down the road to keep Nelms in the public eye.
I do not know where Nelms is going to get funding for a ?100 million plus new stadium development at Campy Nou when it has been stated that there was not enough value in the site when it was going to cost ?20 million less ?6.5 million for selling part of the site for new luxury housing resulting in a net cost of ?13.5 million.

            • I enclose details about a graded slip road/junction which I imagine would be expensive to construct. https://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/w/ind...rated_Junction

              • No idea why they need this kinda junction for a very limited amount of vehicles.

The various fan sites have went from

                It's happening

                Might take longer

                COVID ****ed the timeline

Might have to ground share for a few weeks

                Season at Arbroath/st j

                What happens if

                Derry might get condemned

                Moving into tannadice.

A few of us just went straight to last point very early.

Now reality is dawning on the majority I suspect.

Hope it happens as the doomsday scenario is as unpalatable as it gets but I think less than 50/50 now.

Spent 3.5 million on it.....wonder how much wages Nelmsy has had in that time.

Solution as a consequence of the enclosed comments. It is Nelms’s get out of jail card.

Nelms has probably received in excess of one million pounds during the period 2017-2025 inclusive.
I do not believe that ?3.5 million has been spent on the planning application.
In my opinion the ?3.5 million spent by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited probably includes the ?2.506 million lent to Dundee Football Club and the purchase of 7 million Dundee Football Club Limited shares at 1.35p each which equates to a cost of ?94,500.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) your opinion counts for absolutely nothing.

Unless you can prove what you've written here and in other places then it's probably better that you write nothing.

?150k per annum from 2017 to 2024 inclusive is 8 x ?150k which equates to one million, two hundred thousand pounds.
The figures quoted in my second paragraph are obtained from the Companies House website.

Great reply Islay, must wind Deeranged up when you post facts! See how effective you can be when you stick to facts and leave others to calculate the implications.

Doesn't wind me up at all, I'm not easily wound up. But I agree if he sticks to facts his posts can be decent enough. However when he posts words like probably, I believe and in my opinion then it's pretty safe to assume he's not dealing in facts. Also when he says it's on Compnaies House website he's only giving half the facts because, I might be wrong on this of course and it's for Islay to put me right if I am, the amounts he's referring to are listed as Director's remunaration and are not payments to named individuals. Is Islay asuming there is only one paid director? How does he prove that? Maybe Tim Keyes is drawing a salary? Finally if JN is the sole director drawing a salary is 150k PA really that high a wage for the job he does? Can that be proven or is it just people's opinion based on what they believe the job is worth??
