Other than possibly Stirton I dont see anyone on that bench who can change the game for us if it's not going our way,or which is very likely, we pick up yet more injuries 🤕🫤

I'd forgotten about his suspension tbhOriginally posted by JUSTaway View PostFerry's suspended for the first two games, culmination of too many needless bookings last season. Dolcek left wing back I think, interesting to see how he gets on. Prob as good a starting line up as we could put together in circumstances, though I'd have started Stirton. but to not have one experienced player on your bench first game of the season is bit of an indictment of our situation, given Goodwin doesn't seem overly keen on using them. I don't have a problem with having a bench full of kids if they are good enough and you are looking to use them, but this is just dictated to by injuries.

Came into the game in the last fif**** minutes. Hungarian lost his man which could have been punished. Mix-up with Bert & keeper which resulted in scuffed shot past the post. Nearly behind in the first minute, however we've got a lead at half-time on the plastic, can't complain.
Phuckin hate these plastic pitches, get them in the bin.

Esselink slips out wide and Falkirk get their first goal. If that is on grass no way does Esselink slip. Only Scottish football would allow plastic pitches in the top flight.
Thought Camara was MOTM in an attacking sense. Still wide open and far too easy. Suspensions will play a part this season for United.

Was not looking forward to this game. Everything was pointing to a perfect storm. First 20 minutes confirmed it but we got in to the game and players began to link up with the passes. Camara was excellent. Disappointing conceding so quickly after going 2-1 up. There were definite signs of what we might be this season. More positive than negatives.

Camara showing why we brought him in.
On the other hand Sapsord was very frustrating. Pappoe was better today and with a midfield 3 we looked good when we settled to the task.
Dolcek took his goal really well, that will boost his confidence.
We were a bit open at times, not used to seeing that under JG and it's scary to watch.
More than merited the draw though in a dangerous place to go on day one.

Defo would have taken the draw at the start of the game but now feel we could have won it.Originally posted by Stoke_Arab View PostAlso agree.

Keeper did well but he?s going to cost us at times this season. Far better performance than the euro games. Camara was excellent. Defence as a whole did well and we were far better with 3 in the middle. As someone mentioned more positives than negatives. 🖤🧡
