    This forum is deeeed!
Not much appetite for this match if I am being honest! Jim is in the papers saying that there is nothing wrong with the formation....which makes it look like he is laying the blame squarely on the players.
Hoping that an enforced reshuffle at the back and maybe some home truths being said in the dressing room might give them a rocket up their erses but I doubt it.
Motherwell have been playing some nice passing football...so at least the fans will get to see what that looks like.

I think it's obvious that our recent form is down to individual errors as opposed to a real issue with the setup, obviously we miss Camara too, and a mix of mistakes, bad luck and bad refereeing

I do think talk of JG job and all that is churlish and reeks of knee jerk, it's for maddies on social media imo

We have had a very good season been last year and this year while disappointing ending up mid table is fine, is still early enough to do better than that, second season back is notoriously difficult and to be honest, we will always have a poor spell even in successful years, it's part and parcel so lets keep the stability and get behind the team and manager

Motherwell saturday I can see us either pulling off an unexpected comfortable win something like 3-0 or a more expected defeat, nothing in-between

A back three will mean the wing backs will allow the opposition to have time to put a cross in. The three centre-halves will be flat footed and we'll be a goal down. Midfield will be unbalanced, create phuck all. We might get a chance or two in front of goal, will we take it? Not sure because against The Rangers Sapsford dinks it over the keeper. Versus St Mirren he does the opposite.

"Talk of JG job and all that is churlish and reeks of knee jerk". Well we have two keepers that won't catch the ball when it can be caught. We have quicker defenders, that dont defend as a unit. Sevelj in midfield who does precisely what? Who sanctioned these signings? Who is hellbent on nullifying the opposition instead of getting us scoring goals and getting the opposition in the exact position we are in?

Why is SCH not getting played in back four with Ross Graham? Can't be any worse than these quick defenders that have been complicit in the season we have had to date. How many bookings have these three centre-halves had so far?

The parallels between Thompson & McNamara and Ogren & Goodwin to cash in on potential has been again the main objective when it should of been getting a team to win football matches. For all that Goodwin has done he is pratically revisiting the exact scenario where he got us relegated, only with his signings and his reluctance to ditch his 3 at the back. For that he deserves to fall on his sword.

There you go again dismissing other people's opinions, they are entitled to them and 10 wins in a calendar year, only 3 this season is dire. He's taken the team backwards and signed some very poor defenders to replace the ones who got us into Europe last season. It's an absolute mystery why young Sam Harding can't get a chance in that defence? That's entirely on Goodwin. We are once again in the middle of a goalkeeper crisis too, we know how that ends so it needs sorting out pronto. He needs to have a plan for playing against teams who have figured out his plan A. Right now we are simply nowhere near good enough and have no shape with the ball or without it. If you think keep calm and carry on is the way to go then great, but respect the fact that not everyone does and they dont need bad mouthing just for having an opinion.

It's been clear as day, all season long, we cannot defend with this formation/player combination. Yet, we still do it every week hoping for a different outcome. In my opinion, it's madness.

I can't imagine we'll get anything from this match, We've been absolutely terrible, especially at home. I'm really struggling to find any enthusiasm right now.

Probably just my age and the fact I'm turning into an old curmudgeon.

I personally think that we are doing badly in every department. Our keepers seem suspect, our defence is not working, our midfield cannot find a pass and our strikers can't score.
We can be in the oppositions final third and 5 seconds later...the ball is in the back of our own net! We are gifting teams goal, play with no urgency and look like we lack confidence. The only positives are when players like Camara go off grid and try and do something creative. This is a collective failure by every single person...including the manager! We have made Kuch the fall guy...which I think is unfair! He 100% has issues but he is not the only one. Until every single one of them takes responsibility for the poor performances...they are going to continue. The players need to start fighting for each other and take ownership of the sh1t that they are delivering each week...but more importantly....do something about it! We have a decent squad but we are 100% capable of being relegated...and the fans are beginning to get the feeling of de ja vu. Every game just now is a copy and paste of the last...and it needs to change!

I note that the new Celtic manager is getting panned for the 3-4-3 formation he also favours. It just doesn?t seem to work or little call for it in the SPL. FFS whatever the formation players should be able to adapt and the manager may have to adapt or should do so when it ain?t working and it isn?t for us except on the odd occasions.

Seems to be either a well organized side that is fairly orthodox and not all that great to watch that churns out low scoring draws and 1-0s with a few defeats scattered about that succeeds in this league?basically us last year. Fans moan saying it?s pish to watch.

Manager tries to change it the next year and be more expansive?fails and fans moan saying we?re pish to watch.

There?s obviously some exceptions (Motherwell?) but on the whole teams on our level will succeed through being stuffy and hard to beat.

Our team are huffy and soft, that's on the manager.
We see glimpses of a team that could do well but the norm is a feeling of inevitable failure.
Yes we have been on the wrong end of VAR, but again that's on Jim to put the team in a position to be lucky.

We need a win by any means or the calls for Jim's head will get louder.

You can play any defensive formation, counts for jack sh1t if your goalkeeper chucks one in the net every other match and defenders decide not to track opponents. Saying that, he needs I think to settle on a formation at the back, get the best possible combo. The only constant has been lovu, who has actually played ok last couple of games, but is still honking on the ball and as slow as Trigger from fools and horses, and has been allowed to make mistakes early on that Sam Harding was allowed luxury of seemingly.

I've little confidence of a win tomorrow, my fear is we haven't actually hit our rock bottom bad run yet in terms of form, this bad run of results has had some decent performances sprinkled in there where we have blown the chance of wins, amidst shockers v Falkirk, Motherwell, st mirren. We might just be about a run of poor performances and loses.

My only hope is how often in the past when we have been on a good run have we slipped up against some dog sh1t opposition. Wishful thinking probably.

Coming on here, having to make sure im human, then im sure as i post this will have to sign in again while dodging the ads, dinnae need to waste my time on that just now, then.......

Im not in the Goodwin out brigade, but i am also not of the thought Jim is making money from transfers to the detriment of the team on matchday. Does Ogren have a mystery sellers handbook though?

Some players who showed promise early in the season are now letting us down, coupled by the loss of key players and a keeper to be questioned. Too early to throw Richards under the bus, but there are 10 players before him that need to reduce the other teams chances, and Motherwell will surely hammer us with their football!

Prove me wrong and bring me some cheer this week!

It's not too early for me, keeper has looked suspect in all 3 games in my view, keeper has to be an absolute priority January.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Dave was happy to be #2 to keep #1 on his toes. Unfortunately it's his fingirz, and no eez taiz that is the problem (baith oh them)

Totally feel for Ruairidh just now, top keeper on loans , under 21 cap etc. But........as someone mentioned before, I would hate to see him chucked in and have a few nightmare games because of the (ahem) protection in front of him.

Established keeper in ASAP, Ruairidh as #2. If required, I don't think he would let us down (opinions I know)

And....while we are at it ...gie SCH a fcukin chance, I thought that's what back-up players were for???

Keeper to CF all need the proverbial kick in the a***. for me only Panutche has been fairly consistent.
