It's been clear as day, all season long, we cannot defend with this formation/player combination. Yet, we still do it every week hoping for a different outcome. In my opinion, it's madness.

IIRC Terry, was David Gray not persisting with some defensive set up nonsense dogmatically in the first part of last season and wasn’t for wavering until eventually, finally he binned whatever it was they were previously doing and they took off from there. Goodwin needs to be seriously thinking about taking a leaf out of that particular book.

I can't imagine we'll get anything from this match, We've been absolutely terrible, especially at home. I'm really struggling to find any enthusiasm right now.

They had a big long-term injury list too if i remember correctly, and when all returned, round pegs went in round holes, and formation changed to the players favourite one. (either that, he was telt)

Sticking with back 3 is asking for trouble. Teams now how to play us and it shows wi the amount of points we have dropped. I hope we go back to a back 4 and play 442 or 433. If it’s broke u fix it so time for change. I do hope we win tomorrow but our home performance has been so poor I just don’t see it happening. (Hope I am wrong and we win 3-0). Something has to change for us to win again so Jim make the changes.

JG makes the moves on the touchline of an inward thinking socrates or other great philosopher however he does nothing to change the process.

He was found out in style very early and been unable/unwilling to change it. I do think there is a good squad there but they need played much better. Even the best players will lose confidence eventually.

Motherwell at home is a measure of the progress or regression made thus far.

I am a supporter of JG but there have been some bad moments this season

Motherwell and St Mirren away we were not competitive and in last 10 mins you knew we were getting nothing from the match - which didn?t happen last season

We also have to stop conceding so many goals which is mostly on the defence and GKs

Guessing it's a 3-4-3 again! Motherwells pace may well cause us problems today. Praying for a win!

If he sets that up as a 3 instead of a 4 at the back it could end up being another home defeat.
With personnel ill equipped for 343 he is playing his personal game of football manager with our club and it needs to stop. The defects of this 343 without Camara are obvious to 99% of the fans but apparently not to the manager.

In stating that I would rather us win this match than be proved right.

Seems to be either a well organized side that is fairly orthodox and not all that great to watch that churns out low scoring draws and 1-0s with a few defeats scattered about that succeeds in this league?basically us last year. Fans moan saying it?s pish to watch.

Manager tries to change it the next year and be more expansive?fails and fans moan saying we?re pish to watch.

There?s obviously some exceptions (Motherwell?) but on the whole teams on our level will succeed through being stuffy and hard to beat.

Motherwell have been brutal to watch. I'm sure they are trying to bore us to death...

Defending really well as a unit. Motherwell best footballing side in the league slick passing between the lines but happy with our defending. On the bail though boys like Strain and Srephenson running into blind alleys too often. Get Sapford hugging that right touchline and stretch it a bit more.

Side note. Our commentary team has ti be the worst in all of UK football. Absolutely torture to listen to, if you are only listening to the commentary and not watching you wouldn't have a ****ing clue what is happening in the game. Dull as **** too.

A point and a clean sheet. Progress, hopefully build on it and not get that small step destroyed in the next game. KK does not get back in imo onto the bench.
