On the goalkeeping front I presume the polish market is being explored, which brought us so much success in the recent past?

Defensively, I know he is injured at the moment but also out of contract; is Sam McClelland worth a punt, always impressed when on loan and I believe he liked being with Dundee United?

Totally agree, the one benefit of signing an injured keeper is he will get to know the majority of his team mates in the treatment room.It is shocking how many injuries we pick up and its normal that after EVERY game we lose at least 1 player through injury. Its not long ago we lost 3 defenders in one game.

What is even more remarkable is The Rangers playing in europe every second Thursday and with a larger squad have almost every player available for their Derby tomorrow.

Yeah, the injuries are pretty consistent, always been a puzzle for me. Maybe just bad luck, yi never know. Not so sure though.

If us fans can see the injuries that are occurring more than normal what are the powers to be doing about it? Something stinks to high heaven imo. Hopefully it gets looked at and the people in that department are released as it is season after season.

If we do have sales in this month I hope Capuano has them structured like he did with the Behich deal, that was very well done and one in which we as football club did well in, imo.

I?ve been going on about this since the days of Sandaza!!

How many hamstring injuries this season?

Much like the bad quality live coverage of games, it just seems to go on and on for years before anything happens.

Yeh, it’s not exactly lots of different types of injuries which could be down to just bad luck. I’d estimate that around 80%+ are hamstrings. That can’t be normal……………..

I wouldn't be letting Goodwin have any signings longer than the end of the season, now. His team has no identity, time to sound out an experienced manager who knows the Scottish league. We actually have someone in our setup who could maybe ask if he would be interested in the job...........

No way we should be considering changing manager.

Goodwin until the end of the season. New guy in to oversee summer recruitment to build a squad with strength and depth. This manager I know can build a team and he has done well in Scottish football in the past. He would build a team with an identity. The only team Goodwin will build that's good will be in his head as he is a stubborn blind guy who in his interview after the match has the cheek to say what he did.

I agree. JG has done enough to merit staying until the end of the season. He has put an entire new team on the field and should be given this window to tweak it. Results and performances have been poor but we are still sitting in an alright place in the league. For me, the owner and the fans should be backing him in this transfer window. We are so close to being a good team..but equally, we are skirting around being very poor. This window is massive for us but the lack of apparent urgency from the manager and owner to get deals done is a cause for concern. Hopefully we have some sort of plan!

It would help if he actually opened his eyes and his mind to what your average fan can see a mile off though.

If the season is withering out with us in 7th, 8th or 9th then the minute our bottom 6 fate is confirmed is when i would pull the plug and have a new manager in place for june 1st. Hopefully we got the top 6 but i don’t see it just now anyway.

I see Thelin has been sacked by Aberdeen after a poor run of form and only picking up 1 point in their last 4 games, that game being against us when JG decided to sit in and defend. Not saying we should be getting rid of JG as well but that game typified just how negative he can be at times when other teams wouldn't think of just trying to defend against a poor Aberdeen team. Also too many slow starts in games. we saw early in the season when the team was playing with a greater freedom we were exciting to watch. JG really needs to stop obsessing over how he thinks the opposition will play and how they are set up as it it really stifling any creativity in the team. if this repeated pattern continues I wouldn't care if he goes at end of the season.
