It still shouldn't be the foregone conclusion of previous seasons though, they will go back to basics under Martin O'Neil, and not provide us with the same opportunities you got under Nancy, but this is still the worst Celtic squad quality wise in decades, Martin O'neil was papering over the cracks, and maximizing their talent and riding their luck, they had a lot of poor performances. Nancy was doing the complete opposite and making an average team worse. Celtic aren't any better than Rangers or Hearts right now, we've shown we can be decent away to top sides, we just need to avoid being a couple down by HT. If we can keep it level or even just to one, their nerves might still kick in given recent form. For all that, I'm not holding out much hope.

We won't be starting with Esselink this time and especially not Esselink at RCB v Maeda

Got to avoid an early goal generally,I don't fear this game though, not at all, if it goes better than you expect fair enough

We haven't been mugs against the top three upto now to be fair

Won 1 drew 3 lost 1 (last minute)

I still think that the deceased Billy McNeill might beat Bert for pace!

Celtic are poor. Yet United are still pathetic in their approach against them or The Rangers. Phuck sake just think that you are a European team taking on a Scottish team. What does that need, running at them from the off and taking a shot at goal when the opportunity arises. They might have better players but it is the manner that us and other Scottish teams are so sh!t scared of them that we actually make them look better than they are with our stand off and contain mantra. How to make them look ordinary is to score goals against them first and see how they cope with being behind.

Celtic were poor when O'Neil was in the dugout a couple of months ago. The players they have are miles better than what we have....but we shouldn't be fearing them! They will come flying at us...trying to kick start their season. They have a point to prove and all the pressure is on them. We can cause them problems though and if we can get in about them...we could easily unsettle them. Unfortunately, I think that our entire management will assume that they have become amazing overnight and will try to park the bus....which would be fine if we had a bus instead of a Robin Reliant. As usual with United..expecting the worst but hoping for the best!
          Heart says- 2-1 United
Brain says 6-0 Celtic and we are a defeat to Ayr away from a sacking!

Maybe it's another Walter Rojas scenario and we accidentally signed Rigor Mortis!

              Sevelj Graham Keresztes
              Naamo Luca Camara Sibbald Ferry
              Stirton Sapsford

Like the look of the line up

FFS that's Sevelj needing to be replaced

No Dolcek, is this a sign he might be away? No wingers either? It might be a long day!

Yang scores after 90% possession to them. Goodwin out

Possibly, he's been a total let down after the first month

A waster who doesn't work hard enough, hero to zero

Sevelj didn't need to go off after all

I was relaxed about it as it always had the feeling of a long day, once O'Neill was announced and they went back to their familiar system and their players and fans have that lift and confidence boost, he's only ever lost 5 games at home in the league as their manager

Damage limitation when you go 2 down by half an hour really

Difficult to see how we change it too because the line up looks fine on paper, 3 in the middle, plenty legs etc

Other than Fatah can't see what we do

Re Dolcek; yes not as hard working as others, however this inverted winger nonsense doesn't help, play him on his natural left side and see how he does; i dont recall but pretty sure he was on the left side to start with, in first few games.

                          Long ball pish again.
                          Anti football from Goodwin
Ashamed to see my club playing like that.

And get that medical team in the bin.

They are slaughtering United on RS and deservedly so. Once again terrible negative tactics from JG. Same old pattern, apart from Livy, 1st half passive football.

I'd get the medical team treated by themselves, that way we'll not see them again.

They battered Rangers last week first half, if they had got the second goal they should have, was game over

Add in everything else then was on the cards today that we get a doing

Think it's always been a case of get through this best we could (not going too well) and try to bounce back in the cup next week, which is the first of three important home games with st mirren and hearts to follow
