I still have PTSD from the January where we didn't sign a keeper and went with Poppadom wrists for the rest of the season. I am concerned that JG is trying to highlight the need for reinforcements by playing unfit/square pegs in round holes. I would like to hear what the owner thinks of things and whether or not we have a budget for players! I would much rather get a couple of players in this window than have to pay JG off and risk getting another manager...but we are dangerously skirting around the latter! I am genuinely concerned about the cup game because I think we have become scared of teams and are showing far too much respect to them and its stifling our players. I just hope that by Saturday, we have a new keeper and at least one more player in! We need a shot in the arm and it needs to be sooner rather than later!

Not having a go at them and lesser teams (In the first half especially) makes me question what I'm watching. We were very lucky the last game against Wilfried Nancy's Celtic. As we could and probably should have been down 4-0 at HT.
I grew up watching Counter attacking teams under JM. Sitting back and still getting beat Is pathetic. We didn't react at all when we had a S*** keeper a few seasons ago and got relegated. Not saying we are anywhere near that bad but we should be higher up the league. We have an ok squad and should be having a go. Blame lies in one location I'm afraid.

St Mirren good to watch? I've never seen that in the 7 meetings since last season, 5 of which we've won

Also we cannot forget the points the now departed keeper cost us,we still should really have a good few more points which for me would give a truer reflection of our outfield strength this season

And we've had some amount of injuries, especially Graham has been most costly as we saw in the Derby and the months he was out before December

Sorry bit too Cantona-esque for me?

All I'm meaning from previous posts Is Goodwin Is too negative (with what I think Is a decent squad, apart from keepers) .
Robinson seems to have a go. Yes he maybe does lose sometimes but gets St Mirren Into the top six. Despite having a smaller budget than ours. He Is currently looking at a piece of Silverware, for having a go.
Even leaving Tannadice after we've won some games I've thought "What a pile of Mince" (thats the nice version).
For me Winning Is Important but So Is trying to play football.

Watching the Falkirk v Celtic match, this is the most average Celtic team in years, especially the front 3, defence suspect too.
