Ticket sales are, ahem, ‘slow’ so far. Haven’t bought yet myself but will do but I think everyone is feeling a bit ‘meh’ about things right now.

Just to say for JG - I hope you’re aware of this but just to let you know that the knives are just beginning to get sharpened out there. Failure to win this is not an option.

Wasn?t going to get tickets for this due to the ?meh? feeling that you mentioned, but gave in and bought mine yesterday.

There is definitely a can?t be arsed with this feeling creeping in. JG get on the front foot from the start.

Surely SCH Graham and Kerz have to start at the back if we go with JG plan A,B,C?

A winner takes all game. So Jim park your favoured 343 and go 442 from the start.

      -----------------------Richards-------------------

      Stephenson-----Iovu--------Graham-----Ferry

      Traps------------Eskesen----Sibbald------Fatah

      ----------------Sapsford--------Stirton----------

Camara, Nammo, Sevelj and possibly Watters aren't fit, so don't play them from the start. Stirton did well imo against Celtic and doesn't deserve to start against Celtic but not Ayr. Camara ain't fit so Eskesen starts as that is what a squad is for, strength and depth. He played a nice pass but Traps wasn't switched on to do anything with it. Two wingers to run at the opposition as you know or maybe you don't, that is what defenders dread. Hit the ball in low and hard sometimes. Hit the bye-line and cut it back sometimes.

Sometimes a bit of variation can cause the opposition manager and players to adjust their plans. Maybe we will progress to the next round if you and your team have a phucking go and take the shackles off.

Were always gonna be slow given the feeling just now but I think exacerbated by some ott reactions on places like social media, it's not that bad, we were always going to lose that game on Saturday, the derby was more disappointing, a Bert inspired needless gift to the fun after a decent wee run through a tough schedule in December to lose to that shyte

It's also mid January, dark, cold, depressing in general and our home Scottish cup turnouts have generally been pretty disappointing in the last decade (yet we moan how rare we get home draws)

Away from home is opposite, travelling support second to none in the big cup

Thing is we can't afford a negative support v Ayr as it might not be easy, they have only lost 4 in league, they draw lots like us, need to be looking for a fast start and avoid giving away some daft cheap opening goal like we've been guilty of at home especially against the weaker teams in the league

We have better players so match their early enthusiasm, know that this is a big game for us if we want to have a better then average season, but really, just make sure we are in the hat for next round (for an inevitable tie at CP or Ibrox 😁 )

I get what is meant here - our home form this season has been consistently rotten, especially against teams below us in the league. This a home game against a team from a lower league altogether and our record in cup competitions over the last few seasons is also rotten. So I can understand why buying tickets for this game might not be an automatic decision for some people.

              Massive match.

Really the main thing we have to play for this season- players have to give everything on Saturday

The Scottish Cup. One of the trophy's clubs like ours actually have a chance of winning with a favourable draw. Like drawing a lower league team at home for instance. I'm not saying we won't get beat here but the meh that's going on is utterly ridiculous.

What song is getting played after FT tomorrow, Fatboy Slim "Praise You" or The Smiths "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now"

If we get beat then sticking with The Smiths I think ‘Panic’ would be even more appropriate. Especially for JG.

Alex Harvey, "Next" or Smiths, that/this joke aint funny anymore. (depending on the result)

"Panic" ? maybe not yet, but....

3200 sold so far in home ends from about 6100 available in the bottom tiers, would expect a lot of late sales by tomorrow but still even given it's mid January should be getting more to come at the prices than that as they'll turn out in later rounds of we get there

Away from home would be no bother shifting tickets too

There is serious heat on JG. FWIW I am 100% wanting to stick with JG after what he has done and when I think he is trying to build something good and needs time.

No denying though tomorrow is going to be big for our season.

                            Come on United !!!

                            What about

                            Richards

                            SCH Graham KK

                            Luca Sibbald Camara Ferry

                            Fatah Sapsford new lad

I think our team is much better with Luca as a right wing back getting up and down - we will need someone like his quality tomorrow

Sevelj in CM for me over Camara or Sibbald

He was excellent at pittodrie and second half at home to Celtic, we are better with him in the team imo

Camara can't just expect to play after a poor return to the side

I prefer Luca in the middle overall

Would say Luca Sevelj tomorrow with Naamo and Ferry either side

                              Fatah Stirton Sapsford ahead
