Incompetent yes,but mostly just corrupt to the core.Originally posted by NOSCOTCAPS View PostSo the red card a ppeals have been dismissed! Whilst accepting Camara’s was least likely to succeed. I will still be fascinated to hear Gollum’s explanation as to why it is different to worse tackles! The club should also be asking.
What a bunch of incompetent to**ers!

Those red cards were an utter joke, absolutely no reason for VAR to get involved in the first, and the second was a yellow if the guy doesn't cheat. But little if any chance of them getting overturned cause they could be technically argued to be correct. The bar is getting so low for a red card now and it is going to keep getting lower, even fans and pundits are getting desensitised to it and accepting challenges like the first as a red, it's just ruining the very fabric of the game. Puts us in a real hole for next couple of league games, got to hope Svjel is back or new guy hits ground running, Sibbald lacks legs in there at times, esp when outnumbered. As much as I'm saying the second wasn't a red, Camara was still stupid for doing what he did and taking the risk, and let the side down, we badly need him, esp away from home. Really bad timing those reds, especially with the way our form is trending, little if any hope for tomorrow night. I know in the past we've raise our game against better teams, but those days seem to be behind us. I watched Hibs against Rangers, and if they'd had their shooting boots on, would have won by 3-4.

Both are red cards by letter of the law and while I have sympathy for Fatah as there is clearly no intent there I've little sympathy for Camara .Originally posted by JUSTaway View PostThose red cards were an utter joke, absolutely no reason for VAR to get involved in the first, and the second was a yellow if the guy doesn't cheat. Goodwin shouldn't be coming out defending him either , he should be condemning him and fining him for the total lack of discipline that has left us in the sh*t ahead of two really important league games that can potentially define our season .

If they are by the letter of law, then why wasnt the Celtic boy sent off for his tackle on Ferry? Which incidentally caught him much higher than Fatah caught Leonard and far more out of control!Originally posted by DBDU View PostBoth are red cards by letter of the law and while I have sympathy for Fatah as there is clearly no intent there I've little sympathy for Camara .

There is definitely a double standard and no matter how much the SFA try to explain their way out of it; they are caught wanting just about every time.
No one has any complaint if the standards are applied evenly to all teams, but they don't seem to be, given the comments of many managers who feel aggrieved and even the pundits, love them or hate them.
Just another aside the same Ref who awarded a penalty against us in the Rangers 2-2, was the same Ref who ignored a similar if not identical incident in the Motherwell/Rangers game a few weeks back. These are the type of inconsistencies that create so much debate and frankly anger among the supporters of all clubs.

The Hearts player should have been punished for his ridiculous simulation by the letter of the law, but that didn't happen 🤔Originally posted by NOSCOTCAPS View PostIf they are by the letter of law, then why wasnt the Celtic boy sent off for his tackle on Ferry?
