An Aussie keeper. What could possibly go wrong
Aberdeen, Dundee United and Motherwell have all been watching Cove Rangers star Nick Suman.
The keeper is set to go out-of-contract at the Balmoral Stadium
Motherwell had multiple bids for the big Australian turned down in January.
The Steelmen have continued to watch the 25-year-old in recent weeks.
They have since been joined by some of their Premiership rivals.
The Dons have run the rule over Suman, as have United in recent weeks.
United are in the hunt for another goalkeeper after Jack Walton has returned to Luton Town after a successful loan spell.

Whether the rumours are true or not, if he doesn't know what size of fcukin' shoe/boot he should be wearing at his age, he serious lacks in attention to detail.Originally posted by TerryTheTerror View PostNah, I don't think he takes being a professional athlete serious enough.
He should have went to Clarkes and got that sliding heel to tae, and tape mearsure across thingy. Problem solved. Strange how his shoe size didn't affect his early career, might be a Brexit size thing.
In saying that, I would have kept him, he was beginning to show his worth. What deal that would have been is debatable. I would have gambled on it though.
Professionalism, might just be the issue.

Off the top of my head our current remaining squad consists of the following -
GK
Dave Richards
DEFENDERS
Will Ferry
Ryan Strain
Ross Graham
Sam C-Harding
MIDFIELD
VIcko Sevelj
Craig Sibbald
Kristian Trapanovski
Richard Odada
Glenn Middleton
FORWARDS
Jort Van Der Sande
Meshak
Kai Fotheringham
Rory MacLeoad (he?s back after all!)
Miller Thomson
I haven’t listed the likes of Ruiraidh Adams and Owen Stirton who may be now considered as first team squad members but at the moment that squad depth looks scary. Bearing in mind that the likes of Fotheringham, Miller T. and especially Rory Macleod, Meshak and Odada may not even have much of a future either and it makes it even worse. I?ve seen stuff on SM about a couple of Eastern Europeans being potentially inbound and even Scott Banks returning (!!!!!!!) but we have a helluva lot of work to do over the next few weeks………..

Lewis McCann is one player I think we could do with picking up. Might even get him for nothing as he is of the age where compensation isn't an issue anymore. Stagnating at Dunfermline. With the right coaching and in a better squad he could come good. Certainly would be better than any Odada & Meshak type of signings.

It wasn't a comment that I expect we will go in to the season with the current players. I know it will be fixed. It was more to do with we are pretty much starting from scratch in the forward position as none of the ones we have left really cut it.Originally posted by TerryTheTerror View PostThe striker situation is grim? It's not even June yet.

Struggling to find the date of our first competitive game either in Europe or the local cup, any one have a clue, trying to plan my football year :-)Originally posted by arab777 View PostIt wasn't a comment that I expect we will go in to the season with the current players. Thanks to James McClean for dropping my expectations for next season for a wee while.
Wasnt bathered enough last season to work out how many we had for each position, and while i like 2 for each position at least, i think we need that for next season with more cover.
Are we seeing another keeper, or is Adams at the required level to back up Richards?
We need a full set of defenders plus some cover, and then in midfield we need a credible replacement for Doc and would love Luca back.
Up front is a real issue for me just now as i think Kai and Thomson should get their last chance, but the jury is out on VDS.
I do have a growing fear that something aint quite right at the top of the club, but im sure those fears will start to be dispelled after the weekend!
