Lighten up ffs - the sun is shining, we are comfortably safe, Chelsea thank god lost the final and at times we have played some really good football.

Yes there is a lot of weird stuff going on in the world but the reality is that there is most likely sweet fa any of us on here can do about it.

Arguing endlessly with everyone on here ends up being a bit tedious and given some of the things you have said over many years about many people smacks a little of throwing stones in glass houses.

Maybe lighten up a little of if you are incapable of doing that possibly give it a rest antagonising people on here.

So why the "need" for the reference to "irritating posters"? It had absolutely nothing to do with the thread! And a little "levity"? As I said, had I used such terminology you as the defender of all who might have been, in your eyes, insulted, would come charging over the hill to take me to task. You have in the past, I suspect you will in the future.

As for what I said years ago, yes it was years ago, perhaps you should "lighten up a little"?

Ok, for the record, I suggested that in light of the bereavement, you taking a break from posting here might mean you could better spend your time in the real world with your friends and family (as I did when my wife died so I know/knew of what I wrote). You misinterpreted, went off in one and I wasn't abiut to enter into an argument about such matters on here.

Also for the record I have NEVER been subject to a ban, here or on any other social media.

And not for the first time (but perhaps the last), you ignore a suggestion from me that might "lighten" the mood, presumably because you;

A. Can't be bothered to unearth what was actually posted, or

B. You are sh1t scared of being proved wrong about your long held "disgust" at what you THINK I posted., or

Probably a combination of the two.

i completely understand where you and H are coming from but my overall thoughts on this.

plenty of silent lurkers on here who for various reasons are still wanting to understand our community vibe before attempting to post and in doing so avoid any possible online drama plus the many folks who simply just prefer to enjoy reading our views on LUFC.

whoever and whatever, i do hope everyone has a great summer and maybe a few more past and even newer faces can offer more opinions for the coming season to debate respecting all differing perspectives that frequently arise on the road with Leeds United.

We both know who is in the right here and it isnt you - CBA with you I was trying to lighten up the mood and you then turn that into an argument - it?s what you do I guess.

I realise this is going to be pointless...but I'm really hoping everyone can eventually enjoy this site for its real purpose. I only joined up to enjoy good moments and camaraderie with fellow supporters...and have a few laughs! Particular when the going got tough. And we all know it has been hard work for the club and supporters over many years, so it is more important...as some have said...to enjoy as many of the good wins when they happen. Remember we are now playing PL, not Div 1 like days gone by... Reading this forum of a morning was actually setting more of a depressing feel for the rest of the day. And that's not what I signed up for! So best to give it a miss for the mindset sake. I will probably still check in occasionally to see how things are travelling....but just won't be contributing. Might reconsider one day if we are sitting in the Euro spots at the top of the table, as I reckon that "might" be the only way some on here will stop complaining that players, managers, hierarchy etc. are substandard!
Anyway, there are plenty of good people on here, and I wish you all good health. Take care...and please MOT.
