Australian soldiers have achieved notable feats in various conflicts, including the capture of German outposts in the Pacific during WWI, the daring cavalry charge at Beersheba, and the Kokoda campaign in WWII, all of which are now part of the Anzac legend.
        World War I:
Capture of German Outposts in the Pacific (1914):
Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force (AN&MEF) captured and occupied German colonial outposts in New Guinea.
        Gallipoli Campaign (1915):
The landing and subsequent operations on the Gallipoli peninsula are central to the Anzac legend.
        Mesopotamia Campaign (1915):
Australian forces fought in Mesopotamia, though their involvement was not as prominent as in other theaters.
        Sinai and Palestine Campaign (1915-1918):
Australians participated in the Sinai and Palestine campaigns, including the successful cavalry charge at Beersheba, which is a significant part of the Anzac legend.
        Western Front (1916-1918):
Australians fought on the Western Front, with notable achievements such as the recapture of Villers-Bretonneux on Anzac Day (April 25) in 1918.
Mont St Quentin and P?ronne (1918):
Australians played a key role in the capture of Mont St Quentin and P?ronne, which is considered a significant achievement of the AIF.
        World War II:
        Kokoda Campaign (1942):
Australian soldiers twice traversed the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, fighting against Imperial Japanese forces in challenging conditions.
        El Alamein:
ANZAC troops played a significant part in the defeat of Rommel's army at El Alamein, in Egypt, stopping them from attacking Israel from the south.
        Borneo Campaigns (1945):
Australian troops fought in Borneo, though the necessity of these campaigns for Allied victory is still debated.
        Air War over Europe:
The RAAF played a significant role in the strategic air offensive in Europe, forming Australia's main contribution to the defeat of Germany.
Unlike the infestations side-kick I didn't disrespect the fighting forces nor the accomplishments Anzac forces now or in the past. I suggested, correctly I would suggest, that there is only one player who is at present driving matters and it infests the White House, no matter how much we would like it to be otherwise.

That you (and others), find my comings and goings on this somewhat "niche" forum to be of such interest that your responses to my posts focus on that, as opposed to the global events driven by the behaviour of the chimp in the White House that my posts refer to is truly flattering, thank you so much😉

              • Have to admit I was very impressed that on the day Musk pledges 100M$ to DTs political campaign , it was great to see the White House lawn doubling up as a Tesla Car lot, brilliant use of an otherwise mostly unused state asset.

                    • Global Instability comes from our own unstableness. Our own reliance on emotion which comes & goes is unstable - some may say.

Listened to a lecture today stating now that the system can no longer maintain its lies, a lot of people are coming face to face with reality & it simply just breaks them. All along they deep down knew things were bad but they had to maintain an entire person around 'denialism' to simply function.
So what happens when they are no longer able to maintain such a personhood ?

So my penned thesis response starts with 'are todays global leader sane' ?

I actually have 'bipolar-disorder' which was wrongly diagnosed as possible schizophrenia initially when 28, so i defo know what the definition of 'sane' means.
Each illness has key differences when it comes to its symptom severity treatments which I found out the hard way via wrongly prescribed meds back then.🤯

Craig Bellamy the Wales Coach has my illness as does Gazza the geordie footballer & Frank Bruno the boxer, also Stephen Fry & the famous writer Earnest Hemmingway suffered with it too. Craig Bellamy, like me, declined the automatic prescribed medication route by taking lots of disciplined psychotherapy help instead.

When I see & listen to many global leaders I can see & hear traits that are quite alarming & similar to mental health illnesses I have come across & am aware of. The fact that some prominent people in powers use of recreational drugs & alcohol dependency is concerning too.

Folks with bipolar-disorder generally alternate between periods of high & low moods, while people with schizophrenia typically lose touch with reality via experiencing hallucinations.
My general mood was either low or manic & rarely 'middle-road' with the constant added distraction of hearing 'negative voices' inside my head to contend with all day worsening when in my late 20s.

Eventual diagnosis was 'Schizoaffective bipolar-disorder' which can be difficult to diagnose because the symptoms overlap with one another.
Treatment of it typically involves a combination of medication of antipsychotics & mood stabilizers. I chose the 'therapy only' method of psychotherapy & counseling via a specialist research team based in Cambridge England.

My bipolar-disorder therapy is basically disciplined re-training of my mind 24/7 to re-focus & concentrate on the task in front of me, not easy going 24/7 for sure but practiced constant disciplined thought patterns with a healthy diet, no booze & plenty of physical exercise helped set my ultimate end goal to achieve becoming a Mum, all be it without the 'emotional ties' of having a partner.
I am now 38 & 4 months pregnant & as a Leeds fan I defo need of a fix of positive results for emotional balance, for sure. 😂

England did not offer me the relaxed karma I sought which I have now found around me in France to focus on mentally 24/7, of course this great forum of people around the globe who take the time to opinionate with me keeps my mind challenged & focused too. 😊

Not saying my way to combat the illness works for everyone but if I can help some to better life alternatives then I am happy to oblige & maybe convert a few to follow LUFC too. 👍

Human minds pump out 40,000 thoughts per day & are on automatic pilot & for many this leads to misery. If we do not take action to tame our minds then our ?mindstorms' will forever be dissatsified, forever wandering, forever jumping from illusion to illusion leaving mankind on course for disaster.

So yes, i do query our global leader mindsets !

Sadly, suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in UK, my notes state.

1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem like anxiety & depression in any given week in England.

Three quarters of common mental health problems are established by the age of 24.

I lost far to many mates along my journey & know many today still struggling but help is out there you just gotta voice it first - just like in the second paragraph of this post.
We do have a voice to use !

Two books by Kahneman I think you would like MT

Thinking Fast, Thinking Slow (the underlying work led to him and his academic research partner won the Nobel prize)

                        Noise

Sadly he died last year but his worked spawned the surge in behavioural economics.

Nudge Theory is another interesting book - it was the go to book in UK government for a while - probably to the exclusion of getting the underlying message you are promoting right.

You are not wrong about most leader's having illnesses. Hitler was evil but now most countries are run by dictators and their families.
Some use the word communist as evil where in effect if it's used right it is the best method economically wise .
Example Poland! you don't here many problems there violence protesting immigration problems so on.
One top politician was interviewed And asked why we don't see many problem in Poland compared to the rest of the world? His reply we don't allow 1 musim into our country. But isn't that racist? We don't give a farke as long as our country is safe. But you allowed 2 million ukrainians into your country? Yes they are christians for one and hard working and pay there way no free lunches so to speak.
As of suicides in Australia the amount of under 25 year old is crazy. It is not reported here in the media as it's a taboo subject so we never get the numbers. Here in my little town of close to 3 years we have had 10 commit it from various ages. And trust me I have been so close so many times as there is no help despite what politicians say. They spend billions of dollars only

                          • Criminals to take over the system and the ones meant to benefit get nothing. From child care to disability to aged care it's despicable how criminals are running rampant. We had one I don't mind saying Indians have taken over and run moist of the criminal activity anyway the one was deregistered child service provider and he and his wife moved on to the disability sector and skimming of it.
I fear Totty nothing we say and find out about things makes it easier, gets more frustrating as the word corruptions in all levels and in all the countries in the world is rampant . The criminal factor is also caused by the same factors' as the worst off people the poor have no way to survive and they turn into criminals to survive.
I'll rest my case on personal level.
My dr Peter you can't go on like this you need help! I said which one disability support services? I applied 10 years ago with my than dr and still waiting to hear from them. Ohh that's no good let me fix that? Someone will contact you and make an appointment to meet you and discuss things! OK? I got someone to ring me and make an appointment which was delayed by 6 months after so many excuses. Finally one day she rang up and she said hi peter I can come see you today would you still want me to come? By than I was ropable, and said what sort of question is that as you had me waiting 6 months and ten years prior without a word and now you ask me i want you to come? You know what don't worry about it as if that is the help you offer I don't want it id rather die and hung up.
