The fact that we are 13pts behind Villa is alarming. Howe style of only crossing into the box is jaded and he?s hasn?t a clue what to do with Woltemade. He needs to change something

The few times that the midfield split the lines saw Sandro have a jinking run and shot, he should have scored.

The few other rare occasions saw advances into the box but no end product.

5'8" Wissa on the pitch, ball out wide and endless crosses. 6'5" Woltemade comes on, wingers decided to cut in and take shots.

What are they doing? Ridiculous!

Howe will have highlighted Villa's 12 goals from outside the box yet Tonali just jogged alongside Buendia as he had all the time in the world to look up and place his shot in the far corner past Pope, who was well off his line.

I appreciate that there hasn't been time to train but dominant again PSV hopeless against Villa. It makes no sense.

Yes, the Aussie clown with the whistle didn't penalise Onana at all despite the constant fouling.

Couple of interesting little stats I found today.

1 - we actually beat or matched Villa on every stat in the game yesterday, apart from the most important one - goals scored. I think what it does at least show us is that we were terrible but it was also fact Villa took their chances. If they'd done same as us we'd be talking about a **** game but a point.

Tells us we're doing things right but not clincal enough - which goes back into us having no pre-season to build voldermort into side and then Wissa getting ****ed by AFCON.

2 - we're actually top of the form league believe it or not. In our last 5 games we've got 10 points which is most of everybody. So yesterdy was terrible but actually looks like just a blip rather than we're always ****.

I think big issue is we're playing so boringly and with no identity that when things go wrong it feels like they've gone even worse wrong than they maybe have.

I have no idea if I'm just extrapolating ****e but thought it worth a mention.
