I don't see any real affection for the lad. Clearly have an impact for the first 18 months at the club, last season and this he's been mediocre at best. No commitment or dedication when the team needed a spark, a true talent to step up to fill the void left by I-suk.

He didn't do that because he isn't capable to doing that. As a 'False 9' he was a dud. Scored ZERO Premier League goals in the middle.

Didn't want to play right, thought he was too good for that.

I appreciate the fist stint I do not appreciate the last 18 months. Waste of a shirt.
Spot on for me. Usually I can easily wish a player of ours all the best if they have earned a big move so long as they have done what they could for the badge. With Gordon, this isn't the case so I'm glad to see the back of him, won't miss and am pleased that we are doing a good piece of business here.

            Add ons:

The deal includes up to €10 million (?8.5m) in potential add-ons, structured to maximise Newcastle's return:

Appearance Bonus: Newcastle will pocket €1 million per season if Gordon features in at least 60% of Barcelona’s competitive fixtures—a milestone he regularly achieved during his tenure at St. James' Park. This could yield up to €5 million over the course of his contract.

Success Bonus: An additional €5 million will be paid out if Gordon helps guide Barca to major domestic and European silverware.

♻️ Sell-On Guarantee: Ross Wilson also successfully negotiated a future sell-on clause into the contract, ensuring Newcastle profit from any subsequent transfers.
            ------------

I mean - they looks some cracking add ons, fair play Ross Wilson.
