    I think you're right.

I also think the atmosphere that would have created around the club for the players would have been posionous, so best to get rid.

BBC quoting Isak, on instagram apparently:

"I want to express my gratitude to my team-mates, the staff, and above all, the city of Newcastle and all the amazing supporters for the three unforgettable years we shared together," Isak said in a post on his Instagram account, external.

"Together, we have written history and brought the club to the place where it truly belongs.

"It has been an honour to be part of the journey, from reaching the Champions League to winning the first trophy in over 70 years. Forever grateful. Thank you, Newcastle."

When you're in a hole stop diigging comes to mind.
It doesn't come across like a deliberate piss-take somehow.
      But, dear me.......................

Maybe I’ve mellowed since the window shut - but it’s not Isak I’m most annoyed at (I am annoyed at him) but it’s the way Liverpool have behaved, and been allowed to behave that’s got me.

The ‘haven’t got the money to pay what we want’ but they found it for Guehi (still laughing mind)

There needs to be action taken against teams doing what Liverpool and Real do to get their targets

Sadly they will just carry on doing it and be allowed to carry on doing it, it seems certain clubs can do what they like.

Well, I reckon it takes 2 to tango.

Although my guess is that this was a threesome, with Liverpool and Isak's agent taking the lead.
But he still seemed all too willing to be lead........

Well if you look it's apperently 97% AI generated, so not even him gushing.

If he plays against the Clarets next game,he will be given a very tough time on his appearance for the Bin dippers,im sure the lads will give him a good kicking 👍

                      Cheers fella 🤣

I’m hoping every set of fans gives him sh!t, players need to be reminded that there will be consequences if they pull this kind of sh!t to force a move… it’s in everyone’s interest to make sure players know it’s not over when they move, as it could happen to any club with their best players.

Obviously that means Wissa might get it to a degree, my personal thoughts were he was being a sh!t too, right up until the deafening silence from Brentford when he claimed he had it in writing that he could leave if they got a reasonable offer for him.

I’d expect that a redacted (names) written statement/evidence would be released by him if that does happen though, it’ll probably need to be seen by fans to believe… personally though (and I admit I am biased) the lack of response from Brentford has been enough to convince me
